I checked three computers here at work and had my wife check her's at home and all of them showed the pictures. Something must be up with your settings.

Anyone else having problems?

Great reports! I love the rebuttal from the wife. I plan on writing a trip report for my visit in 3 weeks, but I highly doubt I could get hubby to reply. I could just hear the "yeah right". I didn't buy him a Grumpy hat for nothin'! I plan on getting him soused so he will enjoy WDW maybe just a little.

That's so funny!! Having a couple of alcoholic beverages can really "ease" the tension of touring these parks. I find I'm usually in a LOT better mood right after I have a glass of wine from the F&W festival. It's vacation so LIVE IT UP!!

Alice

Thank you very very much. You're too kind.

Notes

Remember the Buick Mini Van I ended up with because they were out of midsize cars? Well, it ended up being an extra $50 for the 10 days over what was quoted for the midsize. That was a pleasant surprise as I thought it might cost double!

The Disney Dining Card saved us around $300 for the 10 days.

By the time we left OKW it felt like months since we had stayed at the Wyndham Palms. In retrospect, I didn’t give the Palms it’s due. It was a VERY nice place (nicer than the 2-bedroom at OKW) and we loved it. I just wish it were ON Disney property. It doesn’t feel like vacation until we are actually ON PROPERTY. Anyone on a budget who wants a 5 star, large room (1500 sq ft) you should consider the Palms. We paid $159 per night and it would sleep 6 easy and comfortably.

This was the first time we actually used the pool of our hotel. We went to the Boardwalk pool a year ago but didn’t do much except watch the kids in the mini pool. This year we spent 3 hours one day and 2 ½ the other as a family and Loud Girl and me went one day for 2 hours also. The pools SHOULD be used and are a lot more fun that I would have imagined.

Saturday’s suck! We’ll never go to any park again on Saturday except maybe first thing in the morning for a couple hours. From now on, Saturday in our family means swimming. The parks are just too dang jammed for our tastes. We go this time of year because it’s slower and less stress. Avoiding Saturdays will help this stress level for sure.

It was a great trip but we’re glad to be home. 10 nights and 11 days is PLENTY! We’re already looking forward to next year’s trip. We will begin the planning in the next month and will probably be back at the end of October 2006 so we can use our Disney Dining Card again without purchasing a new one. We’ve stayed at OKW more than any other property now and we’re ready for a change. I’ll book us at our home resort (SSR) 11 months out then try to change to the BCV or VWL at 7 months. If we can’t switch, we’ll stick with SSR.

Thanks for tuning in folks. I’m glad to be finally DONE with this report.

For my entire family I say, “Adios” and I hope you enjoyed the report.

(I’ll be posting the last of the pictures in the next couple of days).

Thank you so much for that fun report! Glad to hear you all made it out safe and sound before Wilma arrived :flower:

Oh no! It's all over!

Love that DDE card, we recovered the cost of the card on our 1st dinner (at CG) love that card.

The pools SHOULD be used
Every day from at least 2pm - 4pm

Great trip report - and lovely pictures - and I agree so much better putting it all in one thread!

You just managed to distract me from my ironing for an hour - gotta get back to it now as they're the clothes for our upcoming trip :0)

I just loved your trip report and pictures! You and your wife are so funny.

Loved your trip reports!! Isn't the food and wine festival great?? My dh and I LOVE it...missing it this year because we're in Kuwait, but next year we'll be right back.

I noticed the gas being cheaper there last time we were on property too. It used to be So Much More expensive on property that we'd go off to get gas. Now it's a much better deal. Go figure. :confused3

Great trip report and great pictures! :goodvibes Thank you for sharing your vacation with us. It sounds like everyone had a lot of fun! :teeth:
