Monsters Inc. Ride

In the Monster's Inc. ride, does Roz really look at you? Is there a guy behind the camera? When does she really look at you, when the camera flashes at you or when you are right infront of her?

I am not totally sure but she has comment on my dd a few times. The comments are very personal and specific. "Little girl in the front row, did you file your paperwork"

Yeah. She has also told my sister and I , " Young Lady in the first row, my what big ears you have." (I was wearing my mickey ears) She has also told us, "Young ladies in the first row, are you twins?" (when we were both wearing our ears) i once waved to her like a princess and she commented on my hand.

One time, my sister and I made funny faces at her, and she said," Young ladies in the first row, that's not nice."

A few days ago my DH was in the last row by himself and she said "Sir in the last row, I'm single too!" LMBO!!

I think this is how it works. When the flash happens, the picture of your car is sent to a computer where a worker can see who is in the car or what they're wearing. Then when your car comes to Roz, they speak into a microphone that translates their words into Roz's, similar to Turtle Talk w/ Crush.

When I was riding she said, "Are those your real ears?" and once to my dad "Ooooooh, You know I'm single!"

We went by Roz, my DH was sitting alone in the 2nd row. Roz says to him, "Hey young man in the second row, are you single? So am I. We should get together sometime. Call me."

My DD thought it was hysterical that Roz was hitting on her daddy.

How many times do you go to Monsters Inc. ride in a day? I've gone many just to hear what Roz has to say.

When we rode it, she also said "Young lady in the first row, are those your real ears?" I liked being called a young lady

Next time we rode it DD14 insisted I take off my ears and she wore her Mad Hatter hat. It worked. Roz commented on it. Can't remember what she said, though.

My first ride she said "Young lady in the front row - love your glasses!" I realized my style of eyeglasses are very similar to Roz's. lol! I didn't even know that Roz communicated with the riders.

Because one day, she was like, Guy in the last row I love those glasses!

So i said, THANKS! Wanna trade??? and she said... No thanks, i like mine better...

She spoke to us twice this trip:

Once with DS3, I held up my camera to snap her picture and she moaned, "Ohhhh, great, another camera." When I snapped a picture, she said, "Cheeeeeeeeeeeze!"

Another time we had the whole family (two parents, two young boys), and she informed us that we were not allowed to remove little monsters from Monstropolis.

Darn! It will be down when we're there....I would have loved to experience that. When we were there last it wasn't there...I think.

We only rode it once, on our trip in 2006. Our family of 4 (before our latest addition) all turned and just looked at her. She said, "What do you want, an autograph?" I said, "yeah! Can I?" and Roz said, "NO!" It was hysterical.

On our last trip, we had to ride Monsters' over and over again - just to hear what Roz would say. It was a very slow time of year, and *she* was very good about having a comment for each of us, on different turns!
My two boys loved it, and spent most of the vacation imitating Roz...

sounds just like us! we would go 5 times in a row just to hear what she would say, and on each turn we would do something different. for ex. wave hand, make funny faces, smile, take her pics. lol

We just got back and interacted with Roz too! 4 girls and 1 guy- my brother - so Roz told him "Young man, stop making googly eyes at me!"
