Things have been a little crazy here this last week! Sorry I'm just now catching up to comments!

That house is going up so fast-- you must be so happy! Our house closes June 8th, so we're kind of in the same boat!

When do you leave for Hawaii? Have you mentally packed a million times? Is there anywhere on these boards where you can post pictures from there? I'm so excited for you!!!

MGM is my least favorite park of all of them... This makes me want to see VOTLM though!

So when are you going to be planning a wedding? Or are you guys just content with the beautiful lower stress life of living together? (Some days I wish we were still there, or at least just a quick elopement to the courthouse, or even a little escape disney wedding where they plan it all in one little weekend planning trip).

I miss talking to you Kristen, I hope you're doing well.

I can't wait to see more pictures of your house. The outside is so cute! We close on June 15, provided everything stays on schedule.

We're leaving for Hawaii on June 17. We're actually going to drive to Buffalo on the 16 because we're flying out of Toronto. It saved us about $1000! Maybe I can post some pictures here, but I will definitely post them on Facebook once we get back and I get them organized!

We're not really in any rush to get married, but I know when we do, it is going to be a very low-key affair. I want to just get married on a beach or in Vegas. Just us. My family can't afford to come and they're fine with it. His family...well, it's going to be an issue, I think. Oh well.

I hope your trip is getting better! It's your honeymoon!!!!!

Chapter 32 - Cars, Muppets, and Anty

So after we had met Chip and Dale, we decided we really wanted to meet the Cars characters. We headed over in that direction and it was still about a minute before they were actually supposed to even come out and we were the second to last people they let in line! People who came at the time they were supposed to be out were not pleased to find the line had already been closed. DSis and I lucked out! I hope they worked something out for that since we were there. Too many peeople were not pleased about that line.

After the cars, we decided to do Muppets 3D. We stopped for a picture of New York first!

Of course, a picture of the fountain!

We had to keep the tradition of 3D glasses pictures, but obviously DSis was not pleased about having her picture taken. (I think she wasn't happy because we were some of the first people in there and then they started to try to cram a ton of people in. They kept yelling at everyone to fill in all available spaces, but it was hot and already crowded. She was starting to get annoyed! And it was annoying... I need my personal space!!!)

DBF loves Sweetums!! He wanted his picture with him.

It was about time for lunch, so we decided to go to Pizza Planet! How could you not? Toy Story is awesome. (I'm so excited for TS3 to come out!!!) The food was ok. It was the same pizza they had at Pizzafari. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but certainly not the worst! I loved all the theming! (How do you spell it? Theming? Themeing? Neither looks right...?)

We found the snowman outside and I had to get my and Jack's picture with him.

Of course, Jack wanted his own picture to use for Christmas cards this year!

After that, I really decided I wanted to go into the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Play Area. I wanted to get a picture of the huge Anty. We felt a little awkward in there since we didn't have any kids with us! DSis wanted to play, but ended up saying she felt too old! She needed a child with her!

We found Anty and got our pictures! (I loved the movie when I was little! I'll still watch it if I see it on TV!)

DSis did climb up a slide before she realized she was the only one over 10 in there!

I think I must be close to my picture limit, so I will end it here.

Chapter 33 - Toy Story Mania!


Here's a quick update while I wait for DBF to get home and make dinner. I gotta get this finished!!!

I left off with us headed to ride TSM again.

We were excited. We loved the ride yesterday!!

On the way over we saw the Green Army Man with no one around him right by TSM. DBF had to get a picture since he wasn't able to the day before.

He was very pleased!

We got in the FP line for TSM. It was pretty long today. I took some pictures of the line while we were waiting. I'm still kinda bummed about not seeing Mr. Potato Head. Oh well...next time!

Jack decided to be in some pictures.

I rode with DSis this time so I could actually beat my partner!

DBF was yelling at me to take pictures of the ride. So I did. Here's what came out - most aren't very good because they're designed for 3D glasses and I didn't use my flash. Don't look if you don't want to see the ride stuff!

I beat DSis!!!

I'm glad I took the pictures now! It brings back memories of the ride. I just made the music from the ride as my text sound on my phone! I love it! It makes me think of Disney and my favorite new ride! I also have Spectromagic as the default ringer. (And I found and downloaded the monorail saying in Spanish, but it's too long to make as a text sound, so I just have it on my phone and annoy DBF with it by playing it at random times!)

As much as I would love to continue on the next part, it just started storming really bad here and the lights keep flickering. I should probably stop before I end up losing the whole post! Sorry this wasn't the most interesting post. I am going to post Hawaii plans soon. I have to get pictures of my binder first!

Cool another update. And it's one of my favorites rides.

I'm afraid that if I use Disney ring tones on my phone my DH may check me in to the hospital for Disney addiction.

Glad DBF got the picture with the toy soldier. Got to keep them happy don't we.

I just realized I had missed your previous post with Cars, Pizza Planet and Muppetvision. I love those signs as you exit about the 3-D glasses also. I don't have a picture of it myself.

Ok, I have to get this finished up before I leave for another vacation! At least the TR part.

Here we go.

After TSM, we saw the new Narnia exhibit was opening. It was actually one of the first few days it was open since being redone for the new movie. This was another place where there was only a small line but we got stuck at the very front for the next showing. That was happening to us a lot this trip!

We spent some time having fun with Jack.

We finally got inside and none of us were very impressed. It wasn't worth the wait at all. I don't even know if it's still there. Oh well. Here are a couple pictures...

Anyway, after we got out of there, we saw Prince Caspian doing a meet and greet.

Prince Caspian asked me if DBF was my prince and then asked DSis where her prince was and said he could be her prince. Then, he continued to make small talk and told me he liked my shirt. He asked me if I knew what it said since it was in some weird language. And here's where I made a fool out of myself in front of the cute guy! I don't think my brain works right around cute guys and so I said something to the effect of, "It says keep your hands out of the doors..." (Now, keep in mind I really do know what it says, not only from the monorail, but I took Spanish for almost 7 years!) He kind of laughed and said, "Ohhhh...keep your hands out of the doors. Thanks, I never would have known that!" Haha. We had our picture at that point and we started to walk away when I realized what I had said and I must have sounded like an idiot!

You can see for yourself, that he was pretty hot! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

He also ended up being the last person I got to sign my bag. I will post pictures of it after I finish the report!

We decided to head over to see Beauty and the Beast. We were running out of time and this was one of the last things we had to do.

We must have stopped at the hat because I have a few more random pictures.

Jack needed a break.

We liked the group that performed before the show. Although, I think I read here, they don't perform there any more?

We all really liked this show and I'm sure we would see it again when we go back!

I have a ton of pictures, so I'll only put a few for now.

I really don't remember what we did next, but we must have went in the Animation Studios because that's what my next pictures are of!

I loved this picture. I want it for my new house!!!

We played Where's Jack!

We had a little time still, so we decided to try Sounds Dangerous! That was a mistake. DBF enjoyed it, but DSis and I were bored. Especially in those sound rooms at the end.

After our nap, we woke up refreshed!

We had to head out and head home soon. I will leave the leaving for tomorrow because I think I am close to my picture limit.

Chapter 35 - We Leave

It was time to leave.

We stopped in a gift shop real quick and of course DBF had to try on a hat!

Then, we headed out. Of course we had to take a few more pictures by the hat.

We were trying to make it look like he was holding up the hat, but there were too many people around to make it work right. I love this picture, though, because the little girl on the left is looking at him like What are you doing!? We noticed it after we got back!

We had all our luggage with us, so after we left DHS, we headed straight for the airport.

It was an uneventful flight and we arrived back home in a mere 2 hours. We had a fantastic trip!

I definitely want to do a wrap up and post some pictures of the bag I had signed, but that will probably have to wait until we get back from Hawaii unless I am feeling very ambitious and try to get it done before we leave tomorrow.

I know I said I was going to post Hawaii plans, so I am going to try to do that tonight!

Sounds Dangerous was mildly interesting, especially if you want to sit somewhere cool. If I remember correctly, though, it does get pitch black in there because they want you to only use your ears to listen and not have your sight sense impeding that. Jacob probably wouldn't like it if he's scared of the dark.

Ok, finally, here are our Hawaii plans.

Day 1 - Travel
Day 2 - Relax, get adjusted to Hawaii time, hit the beach, get settled, etc.
Day 3 - Get up ridiculously early (~2:30 AM) to drive up to the top of Haleakala to see the sunrise. After that we're going to do a zip line tour through the rainforest.
Day 4 - Another early day to do a snorkeling trip out to the Molokini Crater (so excited about this one!)
Day 5 - Nothing planned, but probably will hit Kaanapali Beach for some snorkeling and do some shopping
Day 6 - Driving the Road to Hana all day
Day 7 - Probably hit the beach again in the morning and maybe 'Iao Valley and then we're doing the Old Lahaina Luau in the evening.
Day 8 - Last full day in Maui. Probably do some more relaxing on the beach and shopping
Day 9 - Beach in the morning and we leave for Oahu around 4. It's only a half hour flight, but by the time we get there and get settled and get the car, we probably won't have time to do much else that day except wander around downtown.
Day 10 - I think we'll hike up Diamond Head in the morning and then we're going to do the Polynesian Cultural Center all day. (I've heard this described as the Epcot of Hawaii!)
Day 11 - I think we're planning on doing some snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and seeing the Koolina Lagoons. We also might try to hit the swap market at the Aloha Stadium to do some shopping.
Day 12 - Pearl Harbor in the AM and then we'll probably hit the Dole Plantation - they sell Dole Whips there! I don't know what we're going to do the rest of the day but our flight doesn't leave until 11 pm.
Day 13 - Travel all day and arrive at airport around 7 pm.

That's our basic plans! It was way harder to plan than a Disney trip!

I have a couple pictures of the notebook I made. I saw this on another board here and liked the idea because it's smaller to carry around then a big binder.

I got a notebook made from Walmart and divided it up into sections. I made the tabs for it out of cardstock.

Where each tab is, there is another piece of cardstock that has the title written on it with some stickers (yay stickers!)

On the pages I stapled or taped all the information I printed off or just wrote it in.

So, all the information and confirmation emails and everything is all in one place in an easy to carry notebook. There's a bunch of extra pages and I made a journal section, too, so I can write about each day and then save the notebook after the trip - for future reference or as a memory. And it was fun to do!

Now, I must go pack. I will definitely post some pictures when we get back and I still need to do a wrap up for my Disney trip. (I'm just glad I got the important stuff done for the TR!)

I really like how it turned out! I like seeing all the different styles of signature's.

After the trip we decided our favorite park was HS. Of course, MK will always be Disney to me, but I would love to go to HS again.

After a year, I don't really think I can really do a full wrap up, but I wanted to post to give my TR some closure. I really wanted to finish it up!

On the plus side, there is some good news. DBF and I are going to MNSSHP!!!! I have to get my wisdom teeth out in a month or so eek and I am none too pleased about it for multiple reasons. But, on the bright side, DBF said we could go when I said I needed a reward for getting it done and if I knew I was going to MNSSHP then it would make it more bearable! He agreed!

On top of that, I think next summer we will be going to CA for vacation and DBF agreed (without any bargaining or pleading on my part, I might add!) to go to Disneyland for a few days!
