~Swiss Cheese Plant (Monstera). Its no wonder most homeowners have successful track records growing the plant: it needs simple care. Bright indirect light in a warm, south-facing room is ideal, but keep the plant away from direct sun. From now through late September, this location serves the plant well; from early October to late February, the plant can be set behind a thin curtain in a south-facing window, moved away from the window here in the early days of March. Use tepid water to moisten the soil, probably once a week. Make monthly applications of 20-20-20 from now to Halloween, no fertilizer over the winter.~
Yes, that is the plant I have although mine is not that tall and it seems like my leaves are bigger. I have it in front of a south facing window now that gets light but not direct light.
Mickey was very interested in our new "swiss cheese" houseguest. He was laying under it last night.
