Has anyone been recently? If so, how was it? My husband wants to try it in September but I haven’t seen any reviews on it and I’m curious. Thanks

We went last year. The caramel apple dessert was the best single thing I've ever eaten at Disney World. As for the rest, I can take it or leave it. The food was just good, not exceptional though. And for someplace that's supposed to be a fancy restaurant, it lacked the proper atmosphere due to a couple of loud, raucous tables. There are better high end places on property.

It’s one of our favorites, along with Flying Fish and Blue Zoo. Service is excellent, and the food is delicious. The chocolate sphere dessert is a showstopper. Hope you’ll get a chance to try it!

I saw a picture of the caramel apple dessert before and it looked amazing! We’re not really in the search of something super high end, he’s more interested in trying a different cuisine than those we eat at home.

Unfortunately, I think the food has gone a bit down hill since it opened. The menu is not as extensive as it used to be and the last time I went, the seafood dish I ordered tasted like the seafood had been cooked already and had been kept under a heat lamp or something (super overcooked, cold scallops). For better food in EP, I highly recommend Takumi-Tei.

We were there just a few weeks ago. For this meal, we shared my Parents Deluxe Dining Plan to cover 4 adults and we paid out of pocket for two kids (under 9).

It's a beautiful place, no question about it. They bring you some rolls and the wine selection is good.

We all got different appetizers and all of them were solid. Three adults got the sea bass with the potato scales. The fish was good, but it was pretty tiny. We all liked the sauces with it, but it wasn't exactly amazing either. My mom got the steak and said it was delicious.

I didn't like my dessert too. The melted white chocolate was a great presentation but it tasted like a soft cheese over an apple dessert or whatever and I wasn't a fan.

So here is my take, would I go back? Yeah, but probably not in my next 5-10 Disney trips. There are so many other places I would try to get reservations too.

P.S. - we did a glimpse of Epcot Forever and that was pretty neat.

I went in December and overall it was a good experience. I was very frustrated with the hosts as we checked in about 5 minutes early and got seated over 30 minutes after our reservation time. We were just 2 people and saw other parties of 2 that checked in after us and had reservation times after as well go up before us.

However, we had a good waitress and the food was great! My husband got 2 wines that were recommended by our waitress and they paired well with his food. We didn't have dessert as we were stuffed, but we would put the food in the top 5 of Disney restaurants.

We've eaten there the past three years for Food & Wine Festival Specialty Dinners. Food was delicious, wine was excellent (according to Bill since I can't have alcohol) and service was very nice.

We were there about a year ago. The food was o.k., not great but not bad. Our service was not good. We were set at a two top booth/table combination next to a family of parents and two smallish kids. The kids thought it was a good idea to sprawl on the bench side of the table, kicking me often. That was not the fault of the place or the server, just bad parenting but speaks to the table set up. Our server, seemed to be more interested in the kids and that table then our little two top, we were paying out of pocket, they used the dining plan. We got appetizers, main course and dessert and I had a wine pairing my son got a couple of drinks and we got coffee with our dessert. Cost about the same as we paid at Jiko for similar meal. The place is small and loud, we were seated where we could see the fireworks had we wanted but I felt really sorry for people sitting by windows because when fireworks started, a lot of people came and crowded around their tables. So, it was semi-expensive, o.k. food and semi-o.k. service, loud and not very pleasant as far as comfort. We won't go back again because there are just too many other places to eat at WDW and at the resorts. It was a last minute decision, I booked the ADR about 2 hours before we ate.
