Hi Everybody-We have an ADR at Chef Mickey's during our vacation to WDW next month, and I was wondering to use the Monorail to get to the Contemporary do we have to go into the MK?We are doing this on a non-park day so I hope we don't have to go into the MK to use the Monorail.:confused3

No you don't. You can take the monorail from the MK (outside the entrance), the Poly, the GF, or the TTC.

Or you can walk to the Contemporary from the entrance to the MK. It's a very quick walk.

If you take your car, you can park at the TTC and monorail around to the Contemporary. If you're staying at an on site WDW resort, take the bus to MK and either take the monorail or walk to CR.

where will you be coming from and what mode of transportation you using.

if you are taking the bus system you can go to MK and hop on the monorail(no you do not have to go into MK)

if you are driving you can go to the contemporary directly. then you can take a ride on the monorail after eating.

You won't have to go into Magic Kingdom. There is a monorail stop for it but it's outside the entrance and you don't have to get off. To ride the monorail, you don't have to enter any park. Magic Kingdom or Epcot. It's a great way to do something on a non park day.
