When we leave magic kingdom on the monorail, has anyone just stayed on longer to see the fireworks.
Get off at the Ticket and Transportation Center and watch from there. That's what a fair number of people did when we were there a week ago.
Yup. You can see the MK fireworks shows very well from the TTC
(and they pipe-in clear, crisp audio from the show.)
Note: you are not allowed to stand directly in the actual Ferry loading area.

Sounds good ..thanks
What Robo says. That is a great spot to watch and hear the music. You are practically looking straight up Main Street so it's not a side view or anything.
Wishes Across Seven Seas Lagoon by mom2rtk, on FlickrWhat is it gonna be like leaving TTC after fireworks....we head back to pop
If you are on the bus I would probably take the ferry boat over to MK right where you are standing which will likely be very empty and then you will hit the crowds heading out of MK to the buses. If you have a car maybe it's a good day to drive to the park. Then you will just hop a tram to your car and be heading on your way.

I assume same with busesIf you are watching from the TTC and are parked there, you will be right ahead of the crowd coming from the MK. That's part of what makes it such a great choice.
I assume same with buses
Are there buses to the resorts from there? We've never needed one there so don't know.
Did not know that...thanksThere are no WDW resort buses at TTC.
They all arrive/depart at the MK gates terminal.
Did not know that...thanks
Both times we have done this (last time at Poly though) were times we had a car.
If you have to go back to the MK to catch a bus, you might consider instead taking the monorail to Epcot if it's not also time for Illuminations. The buses aren't that far from the monorail there and you could miss the Wishes crowds.
