I have a feeling my son would also prefer the "Monorail" view. Hopefully Disney doesn't catch on to this and start charging an extra $20/night for this preferred view. We're going to see what happens with the codes. Personally I would love a Tower room w/a view of MK. We'll just have to wait (impatiently!!!) for those codes.

We're staying at the CR soon in a garden wing room. I'm hoping to get a view of the monorail too. lol.

We had a first floor room with a view of the monorail. It was great sitting on our patio watching the monorail go by.

Don't you hate it when that happens?! I wouldn't mind a monorail view either!

:D

This thread is soo funny as I was actually thinking of requesting a parking lot view so my kids could see the monorail too!! Okay so now that someone has brought it up (and I'm sure "monorail view" is not an official term) what do we need to ask for to get a monorail view :D ?

I know there's a longhouse at the Polynesian called Aotearoa, one side of it has monorail view (very close monorail view). I might like that myself on a future visit!

I think the little ones would definitely find a monorail view cool. But, alas, mommy wants a lagoon view.;)

Shhhhhhh! I, too, always thought this was a preferred view - well for our family anyway. We call it the Magic Kingdom view - it's what we always hope to get. The resort calls it the parking lot view - less desirable.
