Monorail ringtone for your cell

who is your provider? I had tried with my Telus Samsung phone and i can't follow it. I was told that when i get a text message, to save it, but i have no option to save the text code. Does anyone have a Telus and have been able to get free ringtones into there phones. :headache:

I've got an old phone...and want to upgrade to one that has bluetooth (Bell's my provider) BUT I had heard that newer phones are software locked now so that you can't do your own ringtone. Canada now considers ringtones NOT exempt from royalties or something like that.

I'd love to have a variety of ringtones from the one I currently use (I made myself) and the monorail one....

Anybody know anything about this or has a newer phone that let us make our own ringtones?

Ok really stupid question - how do I put a free ringtone into my phone? I have never done this!

We use a new Samsung U740 and that is the phone I put this on and our carrier is Bell Mobility. So yes it can be done and without a problem.

I love the phone not only that but you can download the ringtones and hook up your phone to the PC with the supplied data cable and transfer the ringtone that way.

You can actually dowload the ringtone to the computer and use the data cable to transfer the ringtone to the phone store it in teh phones memory not on teh micro SD card then go to sounds and ringtones. You will then choose where you want the ringtone to come from. Choose dowloads or phone then the location you have it saved. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks, I have a Verizon LG ENV2 which wasn't listed, only the EN V was listed but it still downloaded to my ENV 2 phone. It is great Thanks sooo much!!!

Since you offering ;) , i have no idea how to use these? Where do you get the Data cables? I tried the manual way of getting them to my phone, but the options will not allow to use with my Samsung phone(which is only 7 months old) So if i can figure out how to get them from my computer to Cell and directions, i would be thrilled

Pardon my lack of cell phone knowledge but how the heck do I open a text message with a web link?? I have the LG Chocolate on the Bell network.

Please help...I REALLY want this ringtone!!
