Monorail resort parking with ADR

If we have a 7:30pm ADR at a monorail resort, how long can we leave our car parked at the resort? We were hoping to head over to MK for EMH after dinner. If it matters, we are staying on site at CSR.

If you valet park, there is no time limit. If you don't use valet, the parking limit is 3 hours.

I would just park at the TTC or take the bus.

The self-parking lots are posted as not for theme park parking. If everybody who isn't staying at the monorail resort went to the theme park did that there would be no room for the resorts own guests. The self-parking lots are small and can't handle that kind of traffic. That's why it's either valet or move after 3 hours.

Simple rule that works everywhere in the world. You may* drive to the place or venue you are going to visit or have dinner at, etc. When done and leaving that place, drive to your next place or venue.

Specific exceptions are published; for example Disney lets you leave a car in a theme park lot or at a resort you are staying at and use their buses and other transportation to go to other venues.

*One other notable exception. During some very crowded times, it is possible to go into a lot and find no empty spaces. Also, an entrance guard may turn away cars before all of the spaces are taken, in order to save those spaces for guests staying at that resort.
