Monorail question

Has anyone done the full monorail circuit? How long does it take and is there much to see from it? Is it worth it?

There are two circuits - the MK Resort Circuit and the Epcot Circuit.

Not sure how long they take, but the MK Resort Circuit is a good one if you take the time to get off at each resort to have a look round

The Epcot Circuit is a nice relaxing ride and if you are lucky you may see some wildlife. You also get to see parts of Epcot as it loops through Future World.

A good tip is to ask the CM at the station if you can sit up front with the driver

If you have the time to kill then it's a nice ralaxing ride with air conditioning (although it can smell a bit sometimes) and after a few stops you will never get the 'door warning' voice out of your mind

I think it's less than 20 minutes, depending on stops for passengers.

Tim, I think there are actually 3 loops.

MK resort loop stops at the Poly, GF, MK, Contemporary and T&TC.
Express loop stops only at MK and T&TC.
Epcot loop goes between TT&C and Epcot.

I guess the MK resort loop would take something like 10 to 15 minutes depending on stops at resorts. It can be a fun thing to do especially if you combine it with resort hopping.

(1)Express runs from TTC to MK and back (2)the Resort route runs Contemporary-Poly-GF and (3) is EPCOT to TTC and back. Hope it helps, BTW if you try to get to the right coloured section first thing in the morning at the MK or CR you can get the chance to sit up front with the Monorail driver and be honorary Monorail drives too with expert advice on where to get great photos and such from the driver. They really are cool CMs and a quick chat can tell you a lot about them. It's a great way to escape the park for a while if the day becomes too much for the kids or the adults.
