Group of 6 adults from Christmas to NYE. We have an open day and talked about a mono rail trip around Disney hotel’s checking decorations and bars. Anima Kingdom is nm 1 on our list. We wondered which other resorts are a must see or what resorts have unique drinks. Cheers Bill

Monorail only does Contemporary, Polynesian and Grand Floridian. Everything else you need buses, boats and SkyLiner.

DS and I did monorail last summer, he had done often but I never did. Trader Sam's is a must for us, so much fun. Since we have to wait we start with Lapu Lapu at the Tambu Lounge. I was beyond disappointed with Enchanted Rose and other than a great bartender Steakhouse 71 bar was blah. I wish we had done Trader Sam then hopped transportation to some other hotels.

Hopefully folks give you their favorite bars/lounges and you can make a resort wide bar crawl plan.

I think you’re better off doing a walking (or boat I guess) hop from the Swolphin to the Yacht/Beach Club and finally the boardwalk. Much better nightlife, especially at the boardwalk.

Though Animal Kingdom is not part of the Monorail loop, I recommend checking out the Victoria Falls lounge above the lobby and restaurant (I think it is Boma?).

For AKL, take Disney transportation there. If you are not staying or have an ADR, you won't be able to park there. It's a great resort to explore!

Trader Sam's is a must for us, so much fun. Since we have to wait we start with Lapu Lapu at the Tambu Lounge.

That would def be the highlight of a monorail drinking circuit. TS is so much fun with the theming and the antics. Drinks are great (but pricey) and the Lapu Lapu is a must because you need a group pic of everyone drinking from a whole pineapple.

The AKL bars are fine, but a real gem is the Nomad Lounge inside Animal Kingdom. Excellent cocktails and some tasty appetizers.

Not on monorail but you can take the boat from MK- Wilderness Lodge. Nice Christmas decorations- lounge inside and Geyser point outside by the water

Territory Lounge inside is a must do every time I go since 2008

Yeah we go to Trader Sam's with a plan which shifts on what if any mugs are available to take home. We get a few dishes to share and always enjoy our favorite server (who remembers DS each time)!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Nomad!!!! Tiffins is a total pass for us, but Nomad is a #mustdo! Good Drinks, Food, Atmosphere!
