Monorail Collection

Hello Fellow Disney Fans,

I am a big fan of the Monorail and I wish to start layout with the train and accessories. Unfortunately, I will not be visiting any of the parks this year to buy a set. Can anyone recommend a good place to purchase one other than eBay where the prices can get out of control? Does Disney offer the monorail trainsets online?

You cannot buy the monorail pins, my son has about 2 of them, and they are exclusively from the cast members ONLY I tried to buy him the monorails, and haven't found them anywhere, and asked a cast member, and they told me only they have them. We only have the green and orange now, and have been looking every time we go! So, ebay might be your best bet.

I am pretty sure you are looking for the actual monorail train sets that they sell at the parks. You might be able to get one from Disney merchandise or you might want to just keep looking on ebay. They were expensive for a while because Disney stopped making them for a while, but they are back and plentiful at the parks so they will not be hard to get for a decent price.

Sorry, saw all the threads about pins, so I thought he was looking for the pins!! Yes, the monorail sets are back at the parks, they are pretty expensive, I bought a green set fo rmy son, now he wants the blue!! I told him no!! Good luck on your hunt!!

Yes, you can buy it from the Disney phone merchandise order for what they charge in the parks for the current color train they're selling. Ebay might cost you about the same. If you or anyone you know plans on going to NYC at all they sell them at the WOD there, too. But then you'd also have to deal with the big box or ship it back to you.
