Monkeys...

Are there monkeys at DAK? My daughter loves monkeys and I love to have her see some during our next trip. Thanks for any info!!

Yes there are monkeys

There's some big honking gorillas, smaller apes that live in the old temple outside Kali River Rapids, and some black and white Colobus monkeys you can see on the gorilla trail.

Heh.. I have a collection of little stuffed monkeys.. every year when we go, I get some sort of monkey in the Animal Kingdom. Lots of those ones that are velcro on their hands and feet.

nhmom and monkeys don't play well together. She will probably kill me for posting this!!!

nhmomx2 is my wife. On our honeymoon (in FLA of course) we pulled over to a little, hole in the wall place to see some alligators. Well, there were some monkeys there as well.

She was standing in front of the cage saying what a cute little monkey, what is he doing with his hands? Just after that he threw what monkeys throw (s$%T) all over her. If I had a video camera I would be $10,000 richer from America's funniest videos!! After the monkey did this he went off to the corner and it sounded like he was just laughing as hard as he could. The funny thing was I was laughing just as hard

Still going strong after 15 years, that put the marriage to the test early though!!

So honey, when we are at the Animal Kingdom, I will take her to see the monkeys!!

I think 1st thing in the morning they let the Monkeys of Monkey island out and they all go across the ropes to the Island near the Kali RR exit.

There are cotton top tamarin monkeys on the path from the train station to Conservation Station and Golden Lion Tamarins in a glass enclosure near the petting zoo area.

Right where enter to Kali Rapids ride the left of it. there white cheeked Gibbons. There is the mother and father and baby. The a lot fun watch/
