Woah!

I was recently on a hormone to get "things" under control and I have the after effects going on. Hope that doesn't interfere with Friday's weigh-in.

Things have calmed down and trying to get back to normal. I pretty much statyed on track. I didn't anything that caused any damage.

I did come to a happy medium with my treadmill and if it doesn't kill me then I will exercise on it.

I played around with the speed a little, found an easy laid back running pace and wouldn't you know, I can run without stopping. I did a mile, and then another. Who knew? Me? a runner?

Maybe all that walk for a minute, run my butt off for a minute is the new
C25K conditioning program.
 
I know you are doing your own version of the C25K but just in case it interests you and you have an ipod, you can get free podcasts for the C25K program. It has one for each week of the program and as you do the workout it tells you when to run and when to walk and the music is great for keeping you moving. Just thought I would pass that along just in case.:)

It's another Friday weigh in. I had a very big week.

I'm sure fighting pneumonia had a lot to do with it, but considering what I went through this week, it's owed to me.

Being sick with pneumonia and having your 2 daughters (3 yrs and 6 months) having ear infections at the same time is cruel and unusual punishment.

For the last 2 days I have been eating pretty close to normal so I think this is a true weight.

Today the scale says: 246.6

My beginning weight was:265.6.

So I have lost 19 pounds since Jan. 1st.

I think I lost then, 8 pounds this week.

The tread mill has to be put on hold. I'm still coughing like a mad woman and the Dr. doesn't want me near it right now.

Alls good, today.
 
I am glad you are on the mend. Congrats on the 8lbs; you certainly worked hard for this loss...:scared:

I'm getting better each day. I have that deep flemmy "sexy" sounding voice that's almost recognizable as my own.

A true late night radio host sounding voice. NOT!

Anyways, I tried my best to eat healthy while sick. That was challenging to say the least. If I lose any this week great, if not, that's ok, cause I lost enough last week for a few weeks.

I'm just anxious to start seeing a difference. I did get into a size smaller jean last week, but it's not enough for me yet. So I continue on.

Bird: I am anxious to use the pod casts. I just don't want to set myself back and get on the treadmill too soon. Maybe next week. The coughing has to stop first.
 
I can't believe I wasted 2 stinking months of playing falling off and getting back on the wagon.

I keep starting and restarting, everyday.

Today I actually made it past lunch.

I think I'm just totally PO'ed at myself and it's when I hit the bottom that I wake up.

So, in my misery, I begin again.


Hi. I realize when I am journaling I am on track and doing better. So, it's back to keeping a daily log of my dieting days. I didn't weigh myself this morning, but I will tomorrow to assess the damage. Gulp.

Breakfast: egg and cheese omelet, 2 cups coffee
amsnack: pear
lunch: salad with chicken
dinner: salad with chicken

EXERCISE: Not yet
pm snack: if needed yogurt (low carbed and some fruit)

water: so far 5 glasses

I am glad to see you are back around! There have been several disers on the Peeps thread asking about you.

I am sorry you are struggling. I have been having a difficult time with motivation the last few weeks as well so you certainly are not alone. I have lost and gained back the same 3-5lbs for the last month and a half.

It is hard to find yourself when you play so many roles; mommy, wife, daughter, sister, whatever it may be. It is good to see that you are finding you again. :hug:

Nope you aren't alone.Sometimes I feel like I have been swallowed whole by my children.Does that make sense to you? I get so busy with them that I forget that there is a person here and not just a mom(or better known as a taxi service lately).Remember that you aren't alone-you can always PM me and I will also keep this thread linked to my email.I don't have much time to Dis(today is unusual because I am home with a stomach virus)but I am here.

I made it!

I did follow this, but had 2 cheese sticks in the late afternoon, not the yogurt and this evening I had carrot sticks with 1 carb dip.

I added 4 more glasses of water.

Does chasing 3 kids around walmart count as exercise? Just kidding.

I need to get that back into my life without taking sleep away from me. That how I got the pneumonia last two times.

Oh, then right after that 5 out of the 6 of us got the stomach flu.

It was a mess around here for days.

Anyways.

Back to eating healthy.

Once I get past the first day I have to be strict. There is no cheating whatsoever! If I vere off one teensy bit, I'm done.

So, no mulligans. No cheats. Strict only here.

Its the only way.

Day 2

I am rocking and rolling.

Breakfast was 2 eggs and 2 cups of coffee.

I made meatballs for the daycare and I may have popped a few in my mouth, but its South Beach and I can.

So, that was my midday snack.

Lunch while dising is a salad with chicken. All SB approved stuff on it.

I feel so full, I can barely eat it, must have been the meatballs.

I'll just save it for later then.


Water, yes! 4 1/2 glasses so far.

Oh, I did have a fiber one bar. Almost forgot. :rolleyes:

That's why I'm so full.

I did step on the scale and I gained only 7 of the 19 I lost.

I swear I feel like I gained twice as much back.

So, I just have some damage control to take care of and then I'm back to where I left off.

My goal to is have that all gone by next Friday.

I know what you mean about the sickness in the family derailing you.It seems like someone or all of us have been sick for a while now.I am still trying to get over a stomach virus I caught at the daycare and am praying that noone else in my family gets it.

See, I didn't do too much damage.

I had an omelett and coffe this am.
Salad at lunch.
yogurt and pear for snack.

4 glasses of water so far. I'm behind there, but I'll make it up.

It's an AF day! Woo Hoo, was worried there.:eek:
