Money Cometh???

Does anyone know what the heck this is all about? I do the deposit for a large dept. store and today I had about 10 checks, all from different people and above their signature they've written 'money cometh'.

Is this some sort of myth? religion? superstition? I just don't get it, can someone explain?

Just from a basic search I've found that there was a book written called Money Cometh about a religion based belief to look to God for monetary wealth. Must be something in the book that says to do this?
