If i'm not on it means the storm got us, but i will be back as soon as we get up and running again.

To those on the East Coast stay safe. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Sending my wishes also, stay safe to everyone who will be affected by the storm. Maryland has already declared a state of emergency.

NY subways, trains, busses all have been shut down. I've known since 10 AM I don't have to go to work tomorrow, and my nieces don't have school tomorrow & Tuesday. I hope this is all for nothing, but I have a feeling it will be bad.

Stay safe all!

Yes, be safe! Mom, her caregiver and a friend have all left the immediate NJ shore areas and are inland with DSis.

Stay safe everyone. Sandy is here now but I am about 2 hours inland so we are only getting a little rain and wind here. Our coast is flooding from what the news says and she will be further north tonight.

Stay safe

Stay safe everyone............hope it isn't too bad for you all.

Its prettty bad out there and the worse hasn't even hit yet. So far my area is experiencing rain and high winds. No flooding or down trees or power outages yet, but they are expected.

My family in Toms River NJ is without power. They are safe, however.:thumbsup2

We're getting snow here in Ohio!

Maryland has alot of flooding throughout the area and snow in the western part of the state, lots of families without power. We never loss our power except it did go off and on several times during last evening, but never stayed off. It's still windy, but has calmed off alot, the winds last night was very heavy and strong, a couple of times when it hit the house, it felt like the house was going to blow away. This morning everything is fine.

I'm hoping all the states north of us are ok and all our friends here on the boards made it through without any major issues. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Snow already...hope those who were affected are not in areas where there is now, especially if their power is off.

Stay safe, and keep us updated!

Our Cape May home was safe! Only 10 trees down in Cape May according to the mayor.

Our DS who lives in Pittsburgh got to do some cross county skiing on Thursday. He sent a picture showing a true winter wonderland picture. It seems that his area as a whole does have power.

It's chilly along the east coast, but not freezing. So many parts of the east coast are in shambles. That's so sad.

Hope everyone got their power back and all are safe.
Looks like a huge clean up ahead :(

We were without electric for 3 days, the storm didn't give the direct impact that they were calling for.

Now we are hoping the Nor'easter they are calling for, won't be as bad as they are saying.
