Hi! After a long wait I think I can go ahead now and join the group. :goodvibes I've been ultra conservative about announcing our baby bean this time but at 24 weeks everything is looking good so I think it's time to relax now. Besides, there's no hiding it anymore, lol. :)

Megs....
OMG I have missed a lot (still have more to read but saw you are on BR)!!!! WE were on vacation to OBX then came home, was home a day and then I went to CT for 4 days. Plus life with an almost 2mo old....Thinking of you! I also can't believe you are 35 weeks already!!! WOW! Ava will be here soon

Like I said I have more to read and catch up on and hope to tomorrow. With vacation, seeing Casey's namesake and his wife and seeing some fellow Angel moms this past weekend, Casey was SPOILED and has done nothing but fuss today, which makes it difficult to do anything, esp have time for internet!

Also tomorrow is Casey 2 mo, so I have to do his pictures. I can not believe that he is getting so big so fast!!!!!

After being MIA for a while I figured it was time I come on here with an update. I have had a very difficult time the past few weeks with nausea, fatigue, queasiness and all the other fun stuff that comes with the first trimester. Today is the first day I've touched my computer in weeks! In general, food has been repulsive to me. Everything sounds gross and getting myself to eat has been challenging. Apart from crackers, chips, and other snack type things I've eaten very few actual meals. Soup/broth is probably my go-to "meal". I'm just trying to keep my eyes on the prize and stay positive! When we were going thru IF I was always so annoyed by people complaining about not feeling well in their pregnancy, when it was something I so desperately wanted, so I always vowed that I would never complain about not feeling well (except to DH of course ;) ) The first trimester is almost over so hopefully I'll start feeling like myself again soon.
Hopefully everyone else is doing well! I will read back and catch up on everyone's posts!

Congrats and welcome! I didn't come out of hiding on here (and in real life) until after 20 weeks.

Hope everyone is doing well! Joanne, I hope your nausea/morning sickness lightens up for you!

I'm 25 weeks today! 15 more weeks to go. I have my monthly appt next Friday. We ordered furniture on Friday. We registered on Monday night. DH is going to start painting the nursery this weekend :scared1: I'm so ready for it to be October!

the weeks keep on ticking by....I will be 31 weeks tomorrow....hard to believe 8 to go!
I still feel like there is a ton to do!! We don't have the nursery ready at all, its been a slow process getting everything out of there!

Thank you! :goodvibes I think we may be a little behind in planning/preparing since I didn't want to get too excited and then have something go wrong. All of sudden I am in baby planning overdrive. :upsidedow

Good luck! I'm sure there is so much to do, but its so very exciting!!

YAH for 25 weeks! You are just a few weeks behind me (I was 28 weeks on Wednesday) so we are doing some of the same things. I registered awhile back but I am having an early shower before I go back to work Aug 1 (teacher here) but I add to it all the time...lol. We are getting our furniture Monday from MIL, SIL, and SFIL, DH is getting the mattress now. We are setting up as much of the nursery as we can next week b/c my shower is next Saturday and we want to show it off. Its so fun and exciting, isn't it?

Whoo hoo to 31 weeks!!!

Hi all! Well, I am 28w2d!! Wow...can't believe it almost. It is getting more and more real each day. AJ is kicking and moving around a lot and I listened to his hb yesterday and it was fast and strong. DH felt him move the other night. He kicked his hand off my belly! We are getting the nursery together next week. DH just brought home the mattress and the crib and changing table come in next Monday. We are gonna get it all set up to show off at my shower next Saturday! So exciting. Tuesday is my GD test and prenatal appt. I think I go to 3 weeks or 2 weeks after that. We had our 2nd child birth class last night and it was good. We also toured the hospital. I feel like I learned more last night than the first.

Other than that, all is well. I did have to go to school for planning and working in my room 2 days this week and oh my, I was exhausted both nights and the next day! I am dreading going back August 1st. But what can I do?

Ok, have a fabulous Friday and a great weekend!!

Hello ladies.... I've been away for a bit for a number of reasons but mostly because we suffered a miscarriage so I won't be hanging out with you guys, not now at least. We’re obviously deeply saddened by the situation, but know that everything happens for a reason. We already have a wonderful little girl and are confident that we’ll go on to have another baby in the future. I wish you all well during the course of your pregnancies and wish you all happy and healthy little ones.

And Meg, I had pre-eclampsia with my daughter, but I got it pretty early and spent the last trimester on bed rest. I ended up being induced at 37 weeks and 33 hours of labor later I had my daughter via c-section! I hope your delivery goes better!

I'm so sorry. I had two miscarriages before this pregnancy so if you need anything or just to talk please let me know.

I am so sorry for your loss. I went through the same thing in September 2010. Its rough but then we went on to (so far) have a wonderful pregnancy the second time around. Good luck in your future. {{{HUGS}}}

Yahooo! 29 weeks today! I can't believe it:-) Hope everyone is doing well. :goodvibes

Whoo hoo! I'll be right there with you on Wednesday! Have my GD test tomorrow morning, then we'll see Harry Potter if I feel up to it.

Got our crib and changing table from MIL, SIL, And SFIL today and DH put them together! YAH! We'll get the bedding from my DB and SIL Friday night to decorate for the shower Saturday. I also ordered my glider last night (my parents gave me some money and DH's grandmother sent us some money). Things are coming along!! So exciting!
