Lucas was June, easy to dress too!! I have no idea about my RCS. She said 40 weeks. Which is so weird to me. And I think her "procedure" days are Wednesdays, which would be 9/1.

I was going to head out. DS is teething and being a pain in the butt. Then he passed out. So I guess we'll stay unless he wakes up...

Don't you just love when that happens?? It's like you're all ready, you've got your shoes on, you go to get the kiddo, and bam! they're asleep.

Ahh yeah teething. Have you tried the teething tablets? They're no miracle but they work. It's too bad they don't have baby Percoset to make teething easier for everyone

We need a 2nd car, and pronto. We got rid of DH's car because we couldn't fit a baby seat in it, and then MIL didn't need hers, so we used that, and then a few weeks ago she needed it back. I really miss going out during the day! It's not so bad on the rainy days, but on the nice beautiful sunny days it's really hard. I'm looking at *gulp* minivans now. We have a station wagon that we love, but then you can only fit 2 kids and 2 adults in it! DH doesn't seem like he's in a rush to buy anything, but he's the one who has teh car all day! This one-car thing is for the birds!!

OH man, we would never make it with 1 car. We have 2 and thats our minimum. We do only have one that will transport Lucas, though.

DH has a truck (Ford Ranger) he bought and paid for while he was in the Marine Corps... I have a Jeep Compass. I did have a Grand Am but when we had Lucas, DH got tired of bending over to put him in/out of the car seat and just how low it is in general. He's got issues with his back/knees/etc. from his service so he said "We're getting rid of this piece of crap! You've been wanting a Jeep, right??" and he got me my Jeep! That was probably the quickest sale that guy ever made. We walked into the Jeep dealership, said "We want that" and pointed to the Compass. We left less than 2 hours later with it!

I love that thing. It's not too big for me, but it's comfortable for DH to get in/out of and to mess with a carseat doesn't bother his back.

I'd probably be on his butt about getting a 2nd car, pronto! I wouldn't survive if I was stuck here. What about days you HAVE to go somewhere? When do you grocery shop?? I'd die! Though, I live within walking distance to the park/hospital/CVS/Wendys/grocery store so I'm exaggerating a bit.


*eta* he won't take ANYTHING for teething. Not a dang thing. Best I can do is refrigerate his formula, he likes it cold. Probably feels good on his gums. I've been giving him Motrin when he drives me to my last leg of sanity, but try to keep it at 1 dose per day. :-/

I can't believe I'm thinking of a minivan. OMG. I never thought I'd own a minivan. EVER. I'm not a huge fan of SUV's so minivan it is. DH was a little irritated at first b/c he was like "You're trying to be the town chauffeur." But then with the Subaru we have now, we can't fit a 3rd adult with 2 car seats. I just don't want to end up having to take 2 cars everywhere if we go out to dinner with my mom, dad, cousin, whoever. ::sigh::

Yeah I don't feel like my sanity is surviving either, and he just doesn't seem to get it. He's happy when he's at home, he can play all the video games he wants. Except the one time, he finally seemed to get it-- we'd been snowed in for 2 days and on the 2nd day he was like "I need to get out!!" and I was like... see how I feel some days?!!

I do my grocery shopping with DH because it's just easier. DD won't stay strapped into the cart seat so we bring the stroller and push the cart. It was a PITA at first but it's a good system now. I wish we lived within walking distance to something... anything!! It's funny, we live in the suburbs but everything is all driving distance. Boooooo. Thank goodness we've got the pool ni the summer, that's the only redeeming thing about living up here on the hill!

Ahhh poor kiddo. OH!! One thing that did work for us is a frozen paci. Pop that sucker in the fridge for a few hours and pop in her her mouth... oh she liked that!

Hmmm.. I wonder if he'd take it? He's never taken a pacifier. He's still asleep. The Pack-N-Play is next to the desk so I'm thinking I might head upstairs to clean and let him sleep. Try to make as little noise as possible and let him sleep this pain away.

DD quit her paci around 4 months, so I totally understand. I totally hear ya about letting him sleep the pain away... have fun cleaning!

I'm finding some really cute things on crazy8.com. I might buy a few things now, they've got a lot of long sleeve stuff left over from last year at pretty good prices. If they have a coupon code, I'm golden! lol

PB and J's are our lunch menu today, gotta get DH to go to the store. He's been working really hard lately since the weather has been nice, so he's extra tired because he gets up at 5AM. We need a vacation... but then the flip side to that is we don't know what's going to happen with the baby coming so, he's just toughing it out. ::Sigh::

I think Lucas is going to have some sliced colby cheese, wheat bread and yogurt. I'm still in teh air. But I think I narrowed down a purse choice.

Everything looked great on the ultrasound; it was so exciting to see the little guy in there; last time I saw him he looked like a blob, LOL. He was not modest, and the tech said after doing this for thirty years she had zero doubt.

The ultrasound tech said he is extremely active; and I found out the pain in my side and pressure I've been feeling comes from when he puts is feet on my bladder; he did that a few times during the exam!

We are very excited...we would have been either way, but it's so exciting to have seen him and know!

I think I'm going to do resale at either Beach Club or Boardwalk. I love Boardwalk but love Beach Club's pool and it's super easy to walk to Boardwalk from Beach Club! So it'll probably be Beach Club. Got to do some more research. DH seems somewhat into the idea, but I'm trying not to push. I'm not looking to buy for another 2 years... lots of time to work it out!! woohoo.

Pollito, no way in heck would DH let me pull it from savings! I'm sorta glad because I'm so into the idea right now I'd do it in a hearbeat, but it's probably good he's leveling me out. He'll let me creatively finance to save the money over the next few years but he'd never pull it from savings. I think that money is earmarked for the end of the world! Or something as equally rare. Though if we did a resale we'd only need half... hmmm.. aah! I'm so bad. must.walk.away.from.dvc.websites!

Hmm, I may have to look into resale and make plans for next year's bonus that I may not even receive....

We don't have much savings, and DH could care less. He is terrible with money and would spend every penny if I let him.

As for DVC... I'm gonna pass. I know, I know. I'm weird. I kinda like Pop, and I like the CBR, and I want to do a "tour" of the resorts first. I crunched the numbers a few times, and it's just not the thing for us. We always seem to go when there's a discount or promo going on, so we go on the cheap, lol.

See, we tend ot go when there's a discount or promo, during off seasons, so I kind of feel the same way. Plus we're kind of commandos too. But I REALLY REALLY want DVC (in a whining voice)!

Oh, don't feel like a slob!! I stayed at GF once with my Aunt and was like .... uh. Why is this place so great?? I didn't get it.

Got a quick question for yall. I had my first appointment last wednesday and had all the routine blood work done. Will the doc call if there's anything wrong? I can't remember from my first DD. I swear I need to join worries annyomous.

Yes, I believe they call if anything is wrong, otherwise you probably won't hear from them until your next appointment.

We have been staying at Bonnet Creek (BC) and I love it! We need an extra bedroom for DD (stayed at CSR once and it was nice but too small).

I saw your thread on Bonnet Creek and am so tempted to stay there next time! I would really love the extra space, but DH really prefers to stay on Disney property. Oh well, next trip to WDW probably won't be until 2011 anyway, since I'll use up all my time off for this year when the baby is born.

I keep wondering about buying some short sleeve things for the baby. Sept is still kinda warm around here-- with the exception of 2009, which was just much cooler than usual. I have no clue how to dress a September baby!

No, not a minivan! j/k - I know so many people love them, but I just can't bring myself to get one. We will be in the same boat, with not being able to fit anyone else in our car when DH and I and the 2 kids will be in it. But we also can't afford a bigger car right now, so I just keep telling myself it's not our problem, and other people will need to take a 2nd car.

DS was the same way, wouldn't take anything else for teething, except he seemed to like these teething drops I found at Target. I don't remember the brand b/c they're long gone, but they had a picture of baby Pooh on the front.

Pollito, (I really stink at names)... DH just likes to see the big number. If it were in his actual debit card account he'd swipe without thinking and it'd be GONE. So we keep it at a different bank for both our sanity.
