I'm hoping baby has come out by now!Well, a week past due and nothing so far. This kid doesn't seem to want to come out.Yes, I've tried all the supposed tricks to bring on labor with no luck.
It has to be sometime this week, one way or another.

I'm sure you won't have a giant baby! Everything will be just fine.Hello Ladies!
I went for my 28 week appointment last week, and everything looked good. According to my fundal height, I measured right at 28 weeks.![]()
Today (I'm 29 weeks 3 days) I had an ultrasound just to try one last time to get the 2 measurements they haven't been able to get in the last bajillion ultrasounds LOL. Fortunately, we got those last 2 measurements, and everything looks good!
Now here's the part that has me a bit concerned. According to the ultrasound tech's measurements, my baby weighs 3 pounds 11 ounces, which is big for her age. She said that's 75th percentile, which isn't alarming or anything. Now I'm worried that I'll have a giant baby! I mean, I do have to get her out after all LOL! Believe me, I'm going to ask about it at my next midwife appointment, but that's not for another 3 weeks.
The weird part of it is that my fundal height measured 28 weeks just last week, and now the ultrasound shows a big baby. Plus, I've only gained 6 pounds total in this pregnancy (they want me to gain 15 pounds instead of 30 since I'm chunky myself) and I tested negative both times for gestational diabetes.

Congratulations!Add me to the list! I am currently 7w6d pregnant with my first child!DH and I are absolutely thrilled. We tried for about 5 months before getting a BFP.
I had an ultrasound last week to date the pregnancy since my cycles are long. My last period was almost 10 weeks ago but am measuring almost 8. I am due June 21 - I'm a school teacher so this works out great for me. I will likely still start a maternity leave around Memorial Day that way I won't have to worry/stress about my students being in good hands and their final exams. My maternity leave comes out of my banked sick days so this means I'll use fewer of them - which I'm more than okay with.
I can't wait to see my students reaction when I tell them. I often give them random bonus questions and will do so to announce the pregnancy. It will go something along the lines of "Mrs. S is due with her first child sometime during the 2011-2012 school year. What month is she due?"
