P.S. I google searched the panel and found another board where a lady contacted Disney and asked why some received a response to not making the panel and others didn't. She has their reply posted, basically they said they contacted everyone who didn't make round 2 and that the initial e-mail was 9k+ and that some were kicked back. They also said that they heard back from everyone who made it to round 2 (no numbers were provided)

Hello!

I also have been following this thread since the contest was first announced.

I only made it to the second round but have been totally caught up in the excitement of both the finalists and their enthusiastic supporters. I've been hitting my refresh button constantly since 4 p.m hoping to hear good news from all of those who made it to the final round. I hope that those selected will be able to keep us up to date on their adventures!


Can't wait til tomorrow to learn the results...

I know how crushed I felt when I didn't even get to round 2, so I can't even imagine the disappointment you must feel... but you're among friends here certainly so lean on everybody if you need to.

So much sadness for those who didn't make it I don't understand how they made their decisions. Everyone was so deserving.

They're putting us at Coronado Springs, all meals included. I think they'll all be working meals. There was this part about photo and video people following us around. Veeeery scary. So much fun.

THANK YOU to all who had kind words. I have to go out to my book group now. Will check back in and give more details later tonite.

Thank you - all will be good...things happen for a reason. I guess it's just not my time to be discovered! However, I did learn that they are going to branch out other possibilities for us die-hard Disney fans. And I was told that the finalists who did not make it this time would be considered as they start recycling "moms" in 6 months so there is still hope - just not yet.

I truly believe what is meant to be is meant to be. I guess that's what makes life so magical.
