Well, I, too, had made it to the 2nd round, but as of 7:20 central time, I haven't received an email from Disney, so I'm feeling like a double loser.

Wishing all the others moving onto to the next round much luck!

I applied as well and I got a nice email last week saying thanks for applying but that I didn't get picked:sad1: . Maybe you all waiting are still in the running. Good Luck!

Ok here are my answers:

First Round-
I’m Tabitha, age 31, a stay at home mom, and a huge Disney fan. I love WDW and have been there more times than I can count. I’m the one everyone calls to find out about Disney fun for young kids, that is my area of expertise, however I also can help with tips for any age. I love planning trips. I look forward to our family vacations to WDW all year long. I love bringing that Disney magic into my kids’ everyday lives. One of my childhood favorite memories is watching the Sunday night Disney movie with my family.

I have two kids Lilly, age 22 months, and Brent, age 6. My son has been to WDW 6 times and my daughter has been 2 times. My husband and I have been married for eight years, but have been together since high school. My husband and I love Disney World, we honeymooned there. My kids love to look at our WDW pictures and videos. My son is always asking when we can go again. My daughter has been a huge princess fan since before she could talk. We are currently planning a surprise trip just before Christmas.

I love planning trips. I love to share information with other families. It is great to be able to share a tip or a story with someone and make their trip that much more magical. Disney World is the only place we go on vacation because it’s the only place we want to be. I have learned a lot about taking small children to Disney and have become very good at planning and preparing for trips. We have been at various times of the year including MNSSHP, MVMCP, Magical Beginnings, Flower and Garden Festival, & Food and Wine Festival.

Second Round-
I think it is very important to have a plan when visiting WDW, but be prepared to be flexible and follow the cues of your kids, especially when you have young children. When kids get tired or hot it is best to take a break somewhere. Staying on property or visiting a baby care center can be a great asset. Just getting out of the sun, taking a nap or a swim can recharge everyone. When a child is rested and happy it makes a much better trip for all.

My family and I were in MGM visiting with the Playhouse Disney Characters on Mickey Avenue. Annie had just come out and came over to visit with my daughter who was 19 months old. Since we were the only ones around, Annie decided to take my daughter by the hand and walk her down to meet Mickey. Mickey came out and got down on his knees to greet my daughter. The whole experience was very sweet and my daughter was very excited by it. Since then she is always asking to watch herself and Annie on video.

To pick one part of WDW for a family would depend a lot on that family’s make up and preferences. So choosing for families in general, I would say Magic Kingdom. There is something for everyone there and it is truly the most magical. There are rides for all types of riders, spectacular parades, and amazing fireworks. The castle is a magical sight every time. There are plenty of places to meet or dine with Mickey and friends. There is just something about the atmosphere at Magic Kingdom that warms your heart and makes you feel young again.

I thought the second round questions were much harder to answer in less than one hundred words.
Good luck to those of you moving on to Round 3!:woohoo: :woohoo:
I'll be cheering you on!:cheer2: :cheer2:

I agree that the round #2 were a LOT harder to squeeze into 100 or less! That was a lot of info to get in there!

Yeah! Congrats!!!

And congrats to all! Then there were 26...

OK, I just got caught up. I'm stunned - so many talented and generous folks here, I was certain the list of DIS finalists would be so much longer. I agree with a prior post that these last few days have been great fun, and I feel like I've gotten to know some quality people in this experience. That in itself has been a great reward for the effort so far. Making the next round is, admittedly, a very nice but unexpected bonus.

I'm humbled, and hope I can live up to the expectations for this final round, and do the DIS proud.

For now I'll go and start stressing over the phone interviews.:lmao:

-Bret (and hopefully a future "Shark Bait" :rotfl: )
