Word from the Once not so wise (Me) ..lol....Look at the height restrictions too when making your Fast Past selections...Silly me didn't (I know...duh right..lol). I made all kinds of selections based on what I thought they might enjoy and when I took my 2.5 year old she couldn't get on some rides.

Maelstrom is my favorite, and pirates of course but for our girl we have a lot of FP to meet and greet princesses and characters. She adores mickey and minnie.

As long as they meet the height requirements (and are adventureous)-

My 4 year old (4.25, so closer to 4 than 5) loved BTMRR, Splash, and 7DMT. Those were her favorites at MK. She was fine on POTC and asked to do HM again. I would also pick PPF because the line for that can get quite long. While she liked everything, the first 3 were definitely her favorites.

At Epcot, she loved Soarin', Turtle Talk, the Little Mermaid ride, Malestrom, Test Track, and Living with the Land. For FP, I would do Soarin or TT (since they are tiered) and Malestrom if you are interested (because the line gets really long- I saw it reach 60 minutes.

DHS was a bit more tricky for us. Definitely TSMM for #1. She rode TOT and was willing to repeat it, but only once...she didn't like going up and down (she didn't find it too scary). All of the shows are good, but I don't know if I would FP them, just because you have to wait to get into the theater anyway and most shows have plenty of seating.

Four is sorta tough as for some kids it's that dividing line where they may or may not enjoy the rides that are a bit more intense. Here is what DS liked and did not like at 4-5. He was 44 inches on that trip.

I've been on it with a 2yo, 3yo etc and they never minded it. I was worried of course but they always like it I think as long as everyone's demeanor around them is smiles and fun they usually take to it just fine.

Last year DS was 3.5 and he rode everything he was tall enough for and loved all of it. But he won't go near a character.

He rode ToT multiple times even though he looked terrified during the first time. But when we came back to HS later that week and saw it he pointed and said he wanted to ride that one because it goes up and down real fast.

He loved BTMRR and Splash although he didn't like getting wet. We were really hoping he would be tall enough for space and EE this trip but I don't think he's going to make it. He needs a little over two inches between now and the beginning of October.

Our first trip DD was almost 4, DS was 13 months. She LOVED pretty much everything mentioned, although she didn't ride ToT. Next trip (last summer), DS was 3, DD was 6 (she's my daredevil)! DS was a little too short for the more thrill rides but loved everything he could ride. Our upcoming trip in Oct, he'll be tall enough for the majority of the rides, so we'll see what he'll go on!

My four year old would ride ANYTHING. In fact, her favorite ride was Tower of Terror! She rode it FIVE times in a row and was rushing to get on it again, it was hands down her favorite ride.

Now, my daughter is a bit of a daredevil and loves thrill rides, but, yours may not.... Here are my suggestions:

MK = Everything except Stitch & Space Mountain
AK= Everything except DINOSAUR, Expedition Everest & Primeval Whirl
Epcot= Everything except Sum of all thrills & Mission: Space
DHS= Everything except Rockin Rollercoaster (Aerosmith) & (maybe) Tower of Terror

My little guy just turned 5 this summer, and he's small for his age - there's a good chance your 4 year old is taller!

I'd say start by considering what kind of kid your 4 is. My son is not a thrill-seeker. He's cautious by nature, and won't even get on a carousel, though he will do some of the gentler rides at Disney World. So we count out all the faster rides, even if he's technically tall enough to ride them. If your little one's more adventurous, then start by checking the height requirements, and go for whatever you think will be most fun for you all.

In MK, we're planning on getting FP+ for the Buzz ride and Peter Pan, first and foremost.
In AK, for us, the most important FP+ would be for the Kilimanjaro safari.
In EPCOT, we'll probably use our FP+ for character meet & greets, and maybe Nemo and/or Living with the Land.
In HS, we're dying to go on Toy Story together, and we'll probably try to FP+ the Disney Jr show as well.
