Moms, I need serious help!

Hello, Ive been gone all weekend so I havent been back on here. But I wanted to tell you all how much I appreciate the support. I am glad too that I went to the doctor and she told me it would take 2 weeks for my meds to start working but it makes me feel a little better just knowing that it might help. You all have been so great. Big hugz to all that posted.

I just read through this thread- beautybelle- I am sooo glad you got help. I have struggled with depression, and I know how hard it is to reach out, but I also know how much better I feel now that I'm taking medicine! It's amazing- I feel like me again. I'm also taking Effexor, and it does take a little while to start working- and it's not overnight. One day, a little way down the road, you'll think, "Wow! I feel like ME again!" Please, though- tell your doctor EVERYTHING. He/she will not think you are crazy! But- it will help them diagnose how severe your ppd is, and thus help them adjust your medicine if need be.
