Mommy...Why does Crush talk like you? Final thoughts and summary 10/15

B was still doing lots of grumping and wanting to be carried. That was her big thing this trip: wanting to be carried. It got very tiresome very quickly. HHBG and I even considered renting one of those evil strollers, but we didn’t. We just told her to walk or we would leave so she could rest. We are MEAN.

I haven't decided yet what we're going to do about strollers in October. DD4 will probably need something, but I don't want DD7 to start whining as well. Last January, we ended up taking our cheap-o umbrella stroller. Half the time DD7 was in it and DH had DD2 (at the time) on his shoulders. But, the little one has gained about 15 pounds since then! :scared1:

It was interesting to compare the front row with the back row on Soarin’. In the front row, it was easier to get intot he experience. There were no feet above you, and you are really close to the screen. In the back row, there are feet, but I felt like the experience was a little more exciting. You feel like you are RIGHT on top of the water and going to nick the mountains. It doesn’t feel that way in the front. I wouldn’t say I liked either better, but I would say, if you have the chance, try both. It’s a different experience and very interesting.

Coming up soon: Mommy’s favorite cuisine is ruined by something out of her control....

We waited for top row center in December and it was worth the extra wait. Maybe we'll have to try the bottom again in October though. You make it sound interesting....

Wow! Dude! You had a heck of a morning!!

Briannas dress was really cute! Did you make that one?
Stinks about the sunscreen fiasco..I would have just wiped them up and go also, you can see Briannas eys are a little red..Annie loved the fountain pictures. she said Spencer looks like Ben at her school.
We have the same problem with the kids and who they get to go with..always wanted Daddy..

I cant wait to go with out the kids!!! And NO I will not miss them!! Maybe Annie on Small World..its her favorite..

You know, Ed, we walked right past Small World when we went without kids in December. I didn't even want to go on that one! :rotfl:

Great shots of the kids! I esp love that jumping Spencer pic! And the one of the 3 of them walking into epcot...adorable!

Great update lady! You guys crack me up!

Whatya been doing lately missy! popcorn::

Haven't been on anywhere lately. Too busy around here. DD6's birthday is today, so now she is DD7. Big party this weekend, but it's also our neighborhood garage sale and block party. Plus, all kinds of end-of-the-year stuff at the school. So, I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off! :rotfl2: Sorry, but I had to say it!

I'll be around more next week!:thumbsup2

A big Happy Birthday to your Daughter!!!
Did she have a good day? were you able to bring in snacks or anything for school? did she get any presents yet? (I`m needy)

I had lunch with her at school, but we're not allowed to bring in anything. :sad2: She got a pencil and a bookmark from the principal and a certificate and sticker from her teacher. And my in-laws came over this evening and took both the girls for ice cream. No real presents yet.

Her big present is a trip to the American Girl Place in Chicago in June. Eric & I bought her a doll. My mom, my MIL and I are taking her on an overnight trip to Chicago as soon as school is out. We've got lunch reservations and tickets to the theatre at the store. It should be a lot of fun. And we're not taking DD4 with us. She gets to stay home with grandpa and daddy! princess:

Wow,,that trip should be really fun for her! does she know about it?
I have an AG doll...shes the Swedish doll Kirsten. My Birthmother gave her to me because we are swedish. I even dress her up in her christmas outfit at christmas..

She knows that we're going, but she doesn't know when. I also let her pick out which doll she wanted. She chose the "just like you" doll that looks the most like her. It's got brown hair, blue eyes and freckles. Just like her!

I have totally been in the same situation with my dd and the sunscreen when she was younger (at a theme park in a city near ours). Of course I'm a mean mom so I forced her under the tap in the bathroom and proceeded to thrououghly soak her head... oh and her clothes... oh yeah and mine too  But you know, that stuff sticks in there good and it was still an issue for the rest of the day. That was the last time I let her do it herself for quite a few years.

Great installment! I love B's dress :cutie: . I have been MIA from trip reports for a while spending all my DIS time on the design boards and threads. Heck, if I can't go to Disney I can bring a little Disney to myself with the cute clothes and t-shirt designs, right?

We had the same sunscreen thing happen to DS a couple years ago. He rubbed his eye so hard and long that it started to look deformed - we took him to the doctor to check it and she recommended a more mild sunscreen. Since then I always use the face stick for the kids faces.

Good to see Stretchy Shorts around. I miss you:flower3: .

At least they didn't get burnt :rotfl2: Can I assume you were in charge of suncream after that :lmao:

I love B's dress so pretty and those fountains are fun aren't they :)

Oh yes, I took over the sunscreen after that....especially since we were using my good stuff.

That photo made me laugh so much, looks like the water sent him flying!

Looks like Spencer, and consequently Brianna, loved those fountains!! And as Jo said, least they didn't get burnt!!! :rotfl:

I like that pic, too. :thumbsup2

Yep, no sunburns here. :rotfl2:

That funny about the sunblock. I never remember to put it on the kids. :confused3

What is Spaceship Earth like? I'm too chicken to go on it-worried I'll get sick.

I try to remember. HHBG never forgets, as he is so pale, and if my tattoo is showing, i am good about putting sunscreen on it, too. :thumbsup2
