Ditto...

.....don't ask for help when they're lost...don't ask for a band aid when they get a blister........it's definitely a guy thing.....

That's right. We got it all under control. When we do use the GPS, it is on mute, so DW don't know we need directions. Last Disney Trip(October), I was chapp from walking too much and didn't tell DW until days later. We are tough. But inside, we can be like cute little teddy bears. pooh:

:thumbsup2

Your pictures sealed the deal for me. Next time we go we have to make a reservation at Chef Mickey's on our Magic Kingdom day and make that walk. It looks like such a nice little stroll.

I have to agree with the others... those holding hands pics are adorable! :cutie:

Amy, the picture of Zach and Isabelle is so adorable! What fun to be able to see a classmate at WDW!!! I am so excited to hear about Chef Mickey's, it's one of the character meals that I am really interested in for our next trip!! What a nice picture too of your two boys walking to the Contemporary!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

that is the cutest picture of Zach and Isabelle! Love it.

Men. Enough said. Love you guys but....:confused3

It is a nice a walk and not far at all.:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Super close! The worst part of the walk is getting out of MK and past the buses.

I was looking for a picture to post that didn't show her face... and now I think that's my favorite of all the pictures we took that day. :goodvibes

Pictures of the boys walking ahead, without hurting each other, are rare so I love them too!

I was going to wait until tomorrow to post this, but I'm in the mood... so here goes...

We checked in about 20 minutes early and the buzzer went off before we made it all the way through the photo line! I ended up buying the package. We got one large photo & four small ones, which were great to give out to my mother, Nancy & Jeff. These are the two shots the CM took with our camera, but the ones we bought were about the same...

Tim isn't a big fan of the food & the dinner didn't exactly agree with me... but we ate and enjoyed Mickey & his friends:

First up, Pluto:

Then it was Minnie:

I wanted to get into the action:

Then it was time for a little napkin swinging:

After dinner we decided to call it a day & took the monorail to the TTC. We were tired & Tim’s feet were killing him. Plus, Jeff, Karen & K decided to join us for another park day the next day. (We had planned to have a resort day, but since they were staying another day, we would be getting up the next morning to hit Epcot.)

Now this next part is one of the lows from our vacation... Sorry if this is TMI… if you get grossed out by potty talk, please skip ahead. If you choose to read along, you’ll get a good laugh at my expense! (Jordan this story is for you...)

On the way back to the resort, my stomach started to bother me again. We pulled up to our condo just in time because I really needed to use the bathroom! I ran up to the door & MY KEY DIDN’T WORK! :scared1: I ran back to the car & switched keys with Tim… HIS KEY DIDN’T WORK! :scared1::scared1: I thought I was going to cry or have an accident or both! We jumped in the car & raced over to the front desk. I ran into the lobby & made it to the bathroom just in time! I have never been in so much gastrointestinal pain in my life! It was awful! After I relieved myself, I swapped out the keys and we headed back to the condo. By the way, my stomach was a little off for the rest of the week... I don't know if I ate something bad, just wasn't eating properly or had a little bug... fortunately nobody else had any problems. Every time I ate a regular sized meal, I got an upset stomach so I ended up eating small bland meals for the rest of our trip.

Jeff, Karen, Nancy & K arrived right after us & we all got changed for a swim. After swimming we got the kids to bed then the adults hit the hot tub. Nancy offered to stay behind with the kids. After soaking for a while (which helped Tim’s feet) we all headed back and went to bed.

Daily recap: Our third park day started at DHS where Alex got a stormtrooper costume & had a meltdown. Then we spent too long deciding what to eat but had a great afternoon at MK once we filled our bellies. Zach had a little DISmeet & then it was time for Chef Mickey's... followed by a little emergency. :rolleyes1

Up next: Park Day #4 - Epcot!! :cool1:

Cute pictures with the characters at Chef Mickey's! I really like the picture of the monorail!

Oh my goodness! I am so glad you made it to a bathroom on time! I can't believe your keys didn't work at that crucial moment! I have had horrible episodes like that before where it was a race! Glad you made it on time! ;):thumbsup2

Amy,

My stomach was the SAME way on our last trip. I know that I normally have a sensitive stomach but my stomach was not that upset on our honeymoon in Disney. I noticed that the more preservatives in my food the worse I feel. Places like CM must use preservative overload! I felt so sick by the last day, it really prevented me from having a better time!

Hi there! I'm late to your TR but i'm lovin it ;) We've had breakfast at Chef Mickey's and I just fell in love with it there. I've heard from about a thousand people that the food at dinner is pretty horrific, but it's just so much fun there that I still always wanted to try it. After reading about your emergency, I think we'll stick to breakfast! I'm always paranoid about something like that happening to me at the worst time ever. I'm so sorry it happened to you at WDW! I was sick for a day on a trip about 6 years ago, and it was just so awful to feel so sick at such a happy place! Anyway i'll stop rambling now :)

Your CM pictures are cute! I like the one of you & Minnie! She is my favorite...such a doll!

Sorry about your tummy troubles! At least you made it on time!!

Great updates! How fun that Zach got to meet up with a friend at MK!

I haven't heard great things about the food at Chef Mickey's but I really want to try it just for the characters and atmosphere. It looks like so much fun! And to walk there from the MK sounds fabulous...it is now on my "to do" list! ;)

Of course your keys didn't work...that ONLY happens when you NEED to get in! I'm glad you made it to the potty on time!!

Awwww....you poor thing! A bathroom emergency is never fun but one in a public bathroom is never comfortable. But I must say.....better you than the kids or Tim for the sake of the rest of your vacation.

Great pictures at Chef Mickey's!!:thumbsup2 It looks like you were sitting around the same spot we were last year. While we love Chef Mickey's....it's mostly because you are able to see the Fab 5 all in one place. We've never been too impressed with the food.

Oh no! A bathroom emergency! Doesn't it just figure that the key wouldn't work just at that moment. Glad you made it on time!!
