You allowed you child to get behind the wheel of a car you knew he didn't have the skills to drive in the winter. You made your insurance decisions on the assumption that he would have an accident?
You are incredibly lucky that your precious child is alive right now.
This above was a little to harsh....and some posters on the DIS are just well....I'll leave it at that.
Having a teen driver is always hard....and comes with a lot of worries. It takes many years to get driving skills and teens brains are jello to begin with so we worry twice as much. But learn they do and even with experience of 30 years accidents happen.
He will learn from this and be extra careful when he gets back into the driving seat....luckily he got away with a lesson learned and no injuries incurred.
It was a blessed day at that....and here's to many safe years of his continued driving!
