someone sent this to me the other day ~ we were cracking up!! DD9 says "hey that looks like Auntie Karen's car" and it does!!! I sent it to the aunt in question and she called me up to let me know she was going out to clean her car
Sending DH out to clean the van (he's the messier one, and right now the primary driver with me on a bit of bedrest). The other day I found 4 (yes, 4) drinks in the driver's side door, and 2 in the front cup holders! Makes me think I should put the potty chair in the back again!
OMG!! This looked like my car before I was forced to clean it. I took it to a car wash that does all the dusting and vacuuming for you. I asked them if they would vacuum the seat if I removed the booster seat. You should have seen the guys face when I took it out. I thought he was going to charge me extra!
My Van came close to that (except for the bursting baby bottles, yuck). My kids were always spilling drinks and french fries. Also, how in the world do they get dots of soda all over the roof of the car??? I will NEVER understand that !!
But, now we have new Expedition and DH FORBIDS us to eat in it. Its been less than a month ..... lets see how long it lasts.
I actually had a side mirror duct taped to the car for a few days.
A few years ago, DD got hurt in a soccer game, and I left my keys with the coach to have someone drive my car home while I went in the rescue with DD. Turned out to be a mom I didn't even know, and when I went to get my car, she told me she had her DH come out to the car to see that she's not the only one with a disastrous van. (I was mortified!)
One of the great things about Spring is cleaning out the van and finding things we lost in the Fall. It's like Christmas!
I HATE kids kicking my seat! Trained my kids early on not to do that. And their friends learn pretty quickly when I taxi them around too.
