Mojito Monkey Mama's 2 cont'd

Diva Kris, you are so right. Good health is more important than dress size. Believe it or not I was at my most healthiest when I weighed over 350#'s but then I was younger too. Until I got COPD (never smoked) I could do anything and did. I have bunches of volleyball trophies and renovated the majority of this house at that size. I would go back to that size if I could feel like that again but I am too smart to think that possible or feasible.

Good on you for telling your son all the many choices he has in life. The world would be a sad place if everyone had the same abilities or ambitions. My youngest grandson is the 'Golden Boy" while my oldest one has all the problems. I love them both but am glad there is a several year age gap. Makes the differences a bit less noticeable. The oldest one has inherited many of my bad points so we get along well. The youngest one inherited the few good points I have so we get along well also. :lmao:

Just found the link for the Pop Tarts and I am way behind.

Diva Kris, if you happen to also have some weight lifting awards I will know you are my much younger clone. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Night, night, see you all tomorrow. I am going to watch some Netflix and sleep, perchance to dream. Disney, of course.:lovestruc

Heres the $100,000 question....
Do you drink coffee or tea?
I am a tea (hot or iced) drinker myself
:drinking1

Diva K, the tea was delightful. The company was fantastic. Even my sister's difficult friend was not nearly so much of a pain. I met a new friend of hers as well. I liked her and she was much more of my sister's 'type'. We all met at the GF. I had a bit of a bother getting over there so they were waiting for me. It is very elegant and since there is so little seating, very intimate. You have to pass by the dessert tray on your way in so you are raring to go! A vast selection of teas and so even though I am an iced tea drinker (half gallon a day or so) I decided to try one of their unusual blends. I had Eros, and not just because of the name. :rotfl: It is described thus - Medium bodied Ceylon;Sweet mandarin Orange with warm vanilla for a sweet, smooth and creamy finish. I would have capitalized the 'Mandarin' but I quoting verbatim. :lmao: My sister had the Jamaican Spice and naturally, being the Golden Girl (not meaning old but she always lands on her feet), she picked the best of the bunch. Each person got a carafe of their tea so we shared round and got to taste several different ones.

The Buckingham Tea was the choice of most but the difficult one asked for and got the Mrs. Potts Tea for children, with many substitutions. The Buckingham included tea sandwiches (a bit too bland for my tastes), a jam tart (fantastic, sort of like the thumbprint cookies I make dh only better) and a choice of two pastries or strawberries and cream. My sister chose the strawberries and I think she chose correctly as the pastries were small and one was better than they other. The looked pretty though. I make my own homemade cream puffs and eclairs so I am a mite picky about freshness and such. I think I would have loved the Prince Edward's Tea with the pates. Sister did not want that which is strange since we grew up on Liverwurst. ;) The scones with Devonshire cream were heavenly. Sort of tasted like my biscuits I make with sour cream as they were velvety textured. The cream tasted like whipped margarine.

If the company were good I might go back to do this again. Alone, probably not. I recommend that everyone try it once though.

Sounds devine! :cloud9:
(Did Lucy go? Did you dress up? )
Glad you enjoyed it! :yay:
Thanks for the report! :goodvibes

Oh,yes, did you dress up?

I didn't - nothing I take along for vacation would fall into the dress-up catagory. ;)

It was fun and delicious! Would do it again sometime. :) I agree, Linda, not alone.

I will have you to know that I did dress up. :rotfl: Even wore shoes!! That is as formal as I get. No, Miss Lucy did not go. She was worn out from the trip down and spent the first of many days in bed that day. I tried to get her to go or even go to visit a friend she has who works at the wedding chapel but to no avail.

Kristin, not to be picky of anything but a DIVA has to know that divine is spelled with an 'i'. I know it was a typo but I just had to yank your chain a bit. Now I am scared you will start looking at my typing. :scared1: :lmao:

Grandma Minnie&Nana, we shall have to take tea together the next time our agendas allow. (how did you like them words?) I can be fancy, just choose not to. Poor Lucy was appalled to find out that I look the same at night as I do in the morning cause I am a natural woman. Other than a ruffle through my hair I do not fuss nor muss. Might never look better but then I never look worse either.

I hope to post a picture of me at the tea party. I am loathe to repeat myself but I am just plain wore out and I need to install a program for my new camera and am too tired. Maybe after this weekend I will catch a break?

(I know, I know her name is spelled DiVine  )

Context, always consider the context. Good thing to know during this election period.

Darn that Bill Clinton is good. I caught him on The View and found myself wanting to vote for him. :lmao: The man oozes charm like nothing I have ever seen. Slick he is. He commented on Whoopie's dress and I just bet her mouth is bleeding from NOT making any comments. BTW, I am an equal opportunity basher. :dance3: I will and can make fun of almost anybody, including and especially myself.
