MV, how many bags did you say you had? 15?? I am having some computer problems and hope that I manage to get the c/d's done at all. It took me a bit to get my email up today. I know enough to be dangerous.

I have 20 made up but the 15 is fine. You can give those out to members/family units, then invited guests , then others like I am doling out the bags. If someone doesnt get one...they'll get over it.

I feel so sorry for those who are caught in the midst of Fay. I know I am selfish because I am so glad I am not there now and so hoping that it goes away before I head that direction.

BTW, if I do not get ALL the ADR's I want, my favorite parade seats when I want them, have uncrowded parks, lots of towel animals, and win one of the really good Dream prizes I am going to throw a hissy fit.

Am I not correct in thinking that hot air will evaporate water? If so Florida should be high and dry after we arrive!

Pooh, we are eating at Crystal Palace at 11:30 on the 6th and I was planning on eating at the food court for dinner so I could rest up before you all start partying.

Figment, I know darned well I will forget something. I am stressed and will no calm down until the garage door closes and I head down the interstate. Is always thus. All those folks who show up with their beautifully decorated shirts, complete with bags of goodies for each DISer I meet will put me to shame. If anyone sees me please just give me a smile? Then I will not have to feel guilty or have anything more to dust. I always have a plentiful supply of smiles, some are sweet and some are ornery but I got them.

Our Monkey Mama's are no longer a Grand Gathering...
I guess not enough of you all signed up to BE a GG. Last time I spoke to them, there were only two of us (Pooh & me, I think). Today when I called with a ME question, they told me it was no longer part of a GG.

Funny - we've got one too - she came for a visit down south 5 days ago, and still hasn't gone away. After giving us 17 inches of rain in 1 1/2 days, she has proceeded to drop another 2-3 inches per day since. Yesterday we thought we'd finally be free of her, but now as she moves west, her feeder bands are being dragged right back across us. It's been raining off and on since this morning. it's raining right now. There's planty more lined up behind that.

Thank god we southeast Floridians are used to heavy rain, and have unbelievable drainage and pump systems - unlike all the newer towns that have popped up in the central coast that have never experienced this kind of rain and didn't plan for it - they're underwater with alligators coasting through the front yard while we're high and dry just minutes after the rain stops!

There's been a side benefit though to Fay's visit - she cooled down those upper 90's temps we've been having for the past 3 months!

Let me share my dinner frustration with you right this minute. There is a relatively nice barbecue place just up the road from us. I have their number programmed in my phone so that I can call & order dinner if I'm going to be late or busy. Probably 9 times out of 10, they get something about our order wrong. I'm not exaggerating at all. Sometimes its a small thing missing, like no cornbread muffins. Other times, instead of our entree, we get a box of fries. In June, they forgot to put the grilled chicken and beef brisket on both or our salads. Tonight, my husband's salad was the only thing right. Instead of chicken fingers, fries & applesauce, my DD ended up with a Grilled Cheese, fries & peaches. My pulled pork sandwich was missing a side item and there was no freakin' bbq sauce at all. They also forgot the corn muffins (AGAIN).

I know, why go back, right? Each time I call back up there & speak to the manager they're so nice about it. Of course, I'm usually getting take out because I don't have time to cook, so I never have time to run back up there to get it fixed. When we eat in, it's exactly right each and every time. When they do get the orders right, they're fabulous. I jus tdon't understand how their process can be THIS BROKEN for this long. You have a ticket in front of you that reads, "Kids Chicken Fingers" and yet you pick up a box with "GRILLED CHEESE" written on it with a black Sharpie marker!! How stupid can a group of human beings BE????

I feel your Pain! When Mike and I get fast food at LGS(long John Silvers) we just tell them now to give us what they want us to have instead of what we ordered cuz thats what happens to us all the time.

I got your pm and will be calling in the a.m. I am up to my elbows in chocolate tonight making little gifts for the wedding before I leave I vacation.
