I've been super busy lately with the new (old) job, but I love it. This week is the dance recital, so I've been working all day and reharsing until fter 9pm each night. Then, I paint sets of something until midnight. whew! I'm heading to bed now. Good night girls!!

I so understand where you are coming from. I am glad the "new" old job is doing much much better for you now!!

I am glad the sticks worked in the things I made and that it is all holding up well. It was your idea to begin with because I would have never thought about making them otherwise. I thought they were quite cute myself though.

Well the other day we went to the vet to check on a lump we found on the dog. Good news its just a fatty deposit. No Cancer.

WIC, honey I hear you. When I was younger and still had children to raise I had a couple of near death experiences and I know how I feared what would happen to my children. I am older and having survived that I have gotten a tad bit wiser and I can assure you that it is the folks who are walking around with ticking time bombs and do not know about them that are at higher risk than you and I. We know we have a problem, are getting treatment, doing exactly what we should, researching to find the best treatments and are thus far ahead of the game. There are so many treatments for things nowadays. A perfectly healthy person can be in a sudden car wreck or have some other unforeseen accident. We simply cannot live our lives thinking too much about death. It sucks the life out of what we have. Enjoy those children and your life while watching out for yourself and all will probably be well. It usually is. I am keeping you and yours in my thoughts and prayers and wishing you laughter.

Hooray for all the pets who do not have dire problems.

Ang, I am so glad that we are too poor to pay taxes.

Is anyone keeping a database of real names, screen names and cell phones numbers and such?

I am enjoying the new chair, on the few occasions I can find it empty. Had one of my lovely attacks last night but there was a boy sleeping in it. When I tucked him in he said he felt like a King! So I 'crowned' him.

Painted my old blue lamp a nice cranberry. Figure I saved about $50. Looks nice.

Who said I wasn't too poor to pay taxes? It doesn't matter what you make the government finds a way to get it from you. Did you pay tax on that new chair when you bought it?

I need to move in with you. I have never been tucked in like royalty. Seriously, your grandchildren are very lucky young men.

So it's been a while since I've been able to post more than a one liner response, but I've been reading. I'm glad to see everyone is doing well and that plans are proceeding as expected. I really do wish I could be there for the party, but I can't let Evie miss the very first week of school!

Things are going really well here. We finally finished the dance recital. The final performance was last night. I'll be sure to send you some pictures as soon as I download them from my camera. Both Saturday and Sunday mornings, the entire household slept in. DD slept until 10:30AM. Trust me when I tell you that NEVER happens. Today we only slept until 9am, but I'll take it. I've been returning from the dance studio between 11 & midnight every night for the last 2 weeks. Either we're rehearsing or I've been painting sets. This Tuesday was more practice, Wednesday was tech rehearsal, Thursday was dress rehearsal and finally performances on Friday & Saturday.

On Saturday night, my DD ballerina was given 7 dozen roses by different family members (3 dozen from DH). Add to that the 2 dozen roses I received and the mixed flowers she got on Friday night and you can imagine that I have more flowers than my little house can hold. Certainly more than I have vases for. Three dozen are in a large clear plastic lock & lock storage container that would normally hold 2 loaves of bread. Man, I'm so redneck sometimes. Luckily for me, you can't see the told of the container for all the flowers.

29 days til I'm on Florida beaches!
79 days until I'm in Disney!!
