10) I have now lost nearly 130 pounds. My biggest accomplishment .

Ants, you should always count your marriage, short lived as it was. You would not want to have PRE marital whoopie!!;) That is what my FL sister says at any rate. :rotfl2:

Thank you all for your good wishes. I have many friends who have lived many decades after such a diagnosis so I am not scared just trying to figure out how to get all the work I do done and how to get to appointments and such. I have always been the one to drive others. I am sooo looking forward to feeling good after feeling so bad for soooo long!!

Updates to follow as I know more. SG:love:

Nancy

6) 16 adopted bro and sis am the 17th, both parents still around
10) I wish we win the lottery:worship:
Were you raised by the Duggers? I don't remember seeing you on the show! What's it like to have so many siblings? It must lead to excessive WDW trips (makes me wish for more sisters)

8) 1 Dog - Peanut....she takes a licken and keeps on ticken! :rotfl2:
9) I'm a candlepin bowler
I'm glad to hear that Peanut is doing so well.
I actually know what that is. I don't totally get the phenomena or understand the scoring, but I've seen it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp_YsSSDPj8

8 ) diet - go to curves
9) job: none - volunteer for my local Hadassah group

8 ) Mother-in-law lives with us :faint:

Will I see you (hear you) during our trip to WDW? We'll be there 9/10 - 9/14. How long has it been since you had your iron level tested? Have you always eaten ice? Some people have PICA which is an ion deficiency and they chew ice.

5) From Ohio to Indiana via KY,VA,NC
6) Starts to speak 'southern' the second I get past the Ohio River headed south.
10) I have now lost nearly 130 pounds. My biggest accomplishment .
Where in Virginia did you live? I can't wait to hear your Southern! While I am proud of your weight loss (and incredibly jealous) I'm willing to bet your children, grandchildren and your teaching reading are the greater accomplishments that will outlive YOU.

mom2evie

thank you very muich!! She passed away when she was a 1/2 hour old. it was a very long time ago. She would be 19 on June 11th.

Yes wrestler and I have no pictures on the computer but if you would like I can either send you some or when we come down to disney I will bring some with me.

Yes I do enjoy curves but I also need more. Probably going to invest in a wii fit that will keep me excersizing on my off days and while I wait for our new la fitness to open.

I'm there from 9/6 - 9/14. Nothing like taking your kid out for the first full week of school. lol

My iron levels are fine. My mother has always been anemic. She has a horrendous ice chewing problem. I picked up the bad habit from her.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Nancy. Losing a baby is something you never quite get over. :worried:

at one point there was a fad at my old job the divorced women ends up with the young clerk, nurse dr etc... when I got divorced at 27 it was a joke at the lab.. "hey wanna date a divorcee (sp??)":lmao:

Were you raised by the Duggers? I don't remember seeing you on the show! What's it like to have so many siblings? It must lead to excessive WDW trips (makes me wish for more sisters)

well lets see.. the 6 older sister were not happy but the bros where cool when I came along.. I got pushed from 2nd floor to 1st floor stairs steps.. I got locked in a broom closet and am terrified of roach because they said thats where the big roaches dwells who's going to eat me slowly... they'll break my mom's Liadro and leaves the remnants in my dress drawer so I get punished BUT!!!! that's how I get good food! Chocolates.. new clothes... trips to DL in Japan and Cali etc... you see my brothers and sisters are really my cousins... my mom is the youngest of 25 ::yes:: 1 mother 1 father and since my grandmother was converted from Buddhism to Catholic she was a strict Catholic. Mo kids or grandkids out of wedlock... so when a few of my aunts and uncle got a bit crazy and produced offsring... my grandmom would take them back to CHina for year and tells peeps that they are going for finishing school and to learn the Chinese part of them. And the story about I found a homeless baby and felt so bad that had to take him/her home... by then my mom was diagnosed that she cannot concieve so it was my mom who became the adoptive mother. But when San Mateo Bridge opened my dad was there in awe of that bridge :confused3 took my mom and got carried away!!! ::yes:: I am a product of thee "Under the bridge" so they think :lmao: But all those time they did not know they made me... my mom had a history of fibroid that every year she is in the O.R. to have it taken out... finally she got tired and decided not to worry about it and never to go for another surgery... one afternoon while doing :laundy: and there was no drier back then but a ringer... she was ringing clothes and according to my dad she started bleeding and fainted.. got rushed to the hospital.. and by the time my dad got to her GYN.. Had blasted and told the Dr... "Just take everything out... I just want my wife... you have my consent take the fibroid and everything else" Dr. said :confused3 what Fibroid ?????? Your wife is 6 months pregnant!!! Dad said ?? OMG who;s the father :faint: :rotfl2: to this day my mom enjoys telling that story.... going back to the perks I avail.. well what I would do is go to the house next door where my aunts and uncles houses, if it is Mariter (the 2nd to the youngest) who got me in trouble I would go to my aunt who is the wife of his Biological dad and I cry and cry and cry... well of course my aunt dont like her because she reminds her of how my uncle was unfaithful and so I get consoled and at the same time thats how I get even with her... eventually they learn that I maybe 4 y/o but I can be as mean as them :rolleyes1  ... the best part was having 10 older brothers!!! I got a driver.. I got a baby sitter.. I got someone to do my homework... bodygiards.. etc... as long as I behave when they take me out and the girls are ohhh'ing and aaah'ing how nice of them to help my mom take care of me :rotfl2: and when I learn how to answer the phone.. I was trained to tell..."hmmm he's not here , he is with my mom food shopping" but really he is on another date :lmao: that cost them a nickel every phone call !! Timmy <--- penny store fanatic :lmao: :cloud9:

wake up...:cat: Sorry.. I had to answer M2E question... keeping quiet now.. promise :rolleyes1

I'm there from 9/6 - 9/14. Nothing like taking your kid out for the first full week of school. lol
Duh! I'm pretty sure I knew that. Didn't we talk about your husband & son being at the pool the evening of the 10th while you're out cavorting with the other Mojito Mamas???

I don't think I have to tell you that I'm only slightly MORE confused than I was before. Your bioMom got pregnant under the San Mateo bridge. Grandmother takes bioMom to China & comes home with you. Gives you to bioMom's sister to raise because she's been diagnosed as infertile, due to fibroidal cysts. Fast forward in time (I think) and AdoptMom bleeds, faints & ends up pregnant.... that baby is your sibling by adoption, right?

:confused3 :faint: doesn't BEGIN to describe it!!

No...:duck: :badpc:

BioMom = youngest of 25

A few of the 24 bros and sister = had kids out of wedlock

BioMom = adopted those kids.

Grandnmother was to embarassed about about situation, she would take my mom sisters or the woman that had gotten pregnant to China before they start showing so nobody knows in our neighborhood that these kids were concieve outside marriage.

BioDad = engineer and loves roads and highway construction, San Mateo Bridge happened in 1967, He visited the bridge with my mom to sight see in 1970. Something happend under the bridge. 9 months later I came along.

Timmy = came along after Bio mom had adopted 16 of her cousins which was again kids of BioMom's brother and sister.

 is that better...

Makes perfect sense now! :rotfl2:

So your siblings are technically your mom's neices and nephews! I think it's great that she adopted all those kids! :thumbsup2 Your parents home must have been jammed packed during the holidays with all those kids running around!

That's funny that you were "conceived" under a bridge! :love2: :rolleyes1

OOooohhh, I get it now. When I read your original "10 things" post, I thought that YOU were adopted too. Well, that also explains why I didn't understand your explanation! If your Mom adopted 16 of your cousins, there must have been an awful lot of hanky panky going on in your family. Didn't Grandmother ever get tired of this and tell them to STOP making babies?

Duh! I'm pretty sure I knew that. Didn't we talk about your husband & son being at the pool the evening of the 10th while you're out cavorting with the other Mojito Mamas???
Yep, we did. Sometimes I forget my internet discussions too. It's hard to remember things when you didn't actually talk to the person... lol

That's an interesting family history, Timmy. I can't imagine growing up with that many siblings. I thought two brothers is enough.

LOL wait till you hear about my uncles excuse for having 24 kids !!! 1 dad = 2 MOm = 24 kids

My grandmother was married to my grandfather when she was 14 and my grandfather was 17.. my grandpa was a farmer.. so he tills the land day and night ::yes:: :faint: :lmao: and back then there was no electricity.. so when it gets dark.. what else is there to do :rotfl2:
