Mojito Monkey Mama's 2 cont'd

Hi folks, I'm new to the group.
I found you guys via the Sept 13th meet thread!
Welcome. What are your dates for September?
There are some new meets set up for this year .
Vixie
Between work, visiting my niece and getting ready for my vaca to DL I have not had much time. After my vacation to DL I will get more on it..
Sorry, but you are not allowed to go to California without taking me (and I would say quite a few others too.) :lmao:
BTW-my kids are germ magnets:confused3 :sad2:
Should we all wear protective germ resistant suits ???
Agree with ya on the car bit..the buses just take too long, especially with a stroller. We can leave the resort and be in the front gates of the MK in about 15 minutes.

HAPPY  BIRTHDAY Mom2Evie! Save us a piece of cake

Happy Birthday, Mom2Evie. :cool1: :cool1:

Welcome, Cheryl. When are you going in September?

Nancy, the greyhounds are adorable. How are they today?
I'm eating at Yak & Yeti on the 14th. Call me after your lunch and let me know if I should cancel. :rotfl:

Today is my birthday!! Party with me, girls! This morning, my DD gave me a lovely necklace & earring set that she picked out herself. It's a few rows of wire with brown & umber glass beads spaced out. The matching dangling earrings are straight & LONG and not necessarily what I would have picked for myself. However, I was already dressed & the jewlery perfectly matched my outfit. So, I wore the set today. DD was thrilled. Best part, my birthday card had Mickey Mouse on it. I could see him the second I opened the envelope & told her, "You know he's my favorite, right?" She gave me the BIGGEST grin.
Hubby gave me a gift card and added the joking comment that it didn't matter how much he put on it, I was going to spend what I was going to spend. He's right, so I didn't argue. We'll have a birthday party with my friends this weekend, but have no plans for tonight.

:dance3: Yikes!!!! happy Birthday!:dance3:

Well I usually go on weekends and don't stay. Also depeneds on the heat as to how long we stay.

Figment: As long as you like Asian/Chinese food you shoule be okay with Yak.

Yeah, about a year ago, I abbreviated it on my list of "things to do in the MK" and just laughed outloud.
My DH is a HS teacher. I saw an edition of their school paper a couple of years ago. One of the seniors had worked the word M-I-L-F into his "goals for the future" and no one caught it. I had to point it out & explain it to my friend that is the school administrator. Luckily, she jut got a good laugh out of it.

Now you are really lucky I was done with the peanut butter. :lmao: UMM...will I seem dumb if I said that my SO had to explain what **** meant to me.? OK, I led a sheltered life.

For everyone who has drooling problems... ***hands out paper towels to clean up the computers.

Yak -
1. (noun) a large, stocky, shaggy-haired wild ox, Bos grunniens, of the Tibetan highlands, having long, curved horns: endangered.
2. (verb) to talk, esp. uninterruptedly and idly; gab; chatter
2. (verb) to lregurgitate ones stomach's contents

I wasn't thinking along the lines of EATING yak. I was thinking more like #3, eating anything there and then having to yak.

I'm in denial over eating at a place that reminds you of regurgitating. :rotfl:
