Mojito Monkey Mama's 2 cont'd

Oh please don't tell me that! Neithe of our dogs have chewed on anything for years. They're both getting up there in age, 13 years old or so. I'm hoping they don't suddenly develop a bad habit. Now I'm afraid I'll come home one day to find my couch cushions disemboweled on the floor!

they may never chew anything our dog is just got something for our chair :confused3 crazy to me.

We get to bring him home today I can't wait to go get him.

:lmao: :lmao: All I can picture in my head is that dog from the movie Turner and Hooch right now....Tom Hanks telling the dog, not to eat the car! :rotfl2:

My dog loves the taste of our micro-suede couch! She'll sit there and lick it for 5 -10 minutes till I yell 'STOP THAT". EWWWWWWWW!

Now since Hubby is in Orlando (he's home on Friday- thank goodness!) and the two older kids are driving me crazy with their sneaking stuff and lying constantly, I'm beginning to dream about taking Hubby and me to DisneyLand for a quick trip...

Our anniversary is in April and I was thinking of staying in the Maingate hotels (they are mucho cheaper then the DL hotels and just a walk from the park entrance)- but I was ALSO thinking...

Since I can't go on any wild rides due to being pregnant- I really want to take my 2 year old son with me.

Now- hear me out. Our 12 year old- he got to go to DL all by himself with his Dad waaaay back when he was little. And then my daughter- she got to go all by herself with ME when she was a baby- so would it be that horrible to take our two year old with US if we went to DL for our anniversary? I mean- we can't do any fast rides, this way, he could enjoy the park at our much slower pace and we could go see Mickey Mouse and all of the things we don't tend to do anymore with the older kids (they want to ride on rides, not get too many autographs or take pictures!). And DH is all for it- so it's not just ME who thinks this might be a good idea...

Of course, I'm just kicking this around and I AM a cheapskate, so I probably won't do it.

Angie, I sent you an email and if you need anything just call or email. I am so sorry for your loss and it sounds like a loss for humanity at large. I think that God sends 'slow' folk to us to remind us of what is important in life.

DisneyAprilFool, if you and your husband want to share your anniversary trip with your two year old and since the other children got to take similar trips I think you should go for it. A nice slow paced trip would be good for all of you. JMO :thumbsup2

I don't think its a bad idea at all since the other kids got to go alone. Of couse, having the 2 year old certainly would affect your ability to have a romantic anything for your anniversary. I'd still love to go back with just my husband or my friend.

Not getting notifications from this thread, but getting millions from other threads! OF course!

Tried to convince DH he should hit Downtown Disney before he came home (he didn't get a day off, so it was a moot point about whether he could go to one of the parks)- but he's too tired. Tomorrow, he flies home- HOORAY!

Morning Everyone!

I wasn't getting notifications about this post yesterday either, what's up with that???? :confused3

Hope everyone had a good week! We've got a snow storm coming tonight, oh joy!

Yeah I don't know either I am getting a little upset with the boards over this! I think I may have to PM a mod and ask what the heck is going on?

Well I got a call from another bride 2 days ago and will be doing a face to face in the next couple of weeks. Her wedding isn't for a while they are in college here at Kent State I think for undergrad so this should be a good one.

Congratulations! how exciting!! Now get back online and tell us ths story of how you got the ring, how he asked, etc.?!?!

okay here we go!

Just to start the day off we got up took the dogs out and came back to bed for some much need rest Luca our male dog got into bed with us and slept until about 9:30 am then we all got up got feed and Mike and I left for the Akron Zoo well as we pulled out of our driveway our car shut off but started up right away (you'll understand why I am telling this soon) so we proceed on to the gas station and after fueling up we left and it shut off again so we start the truck up again and off finally to the zoo we walked show our zoo membership card and proceed to the penguins and then over to the ducks and up to the Lemurs well it seemed as if they all knew something was up cuz all the animals were a jumping and playing and coming down to the glass to play with us Mike and I went over to the Lemurs and bent down put our hands on the glass and he said you know the first time I knew I was in love with you is here at the zoo and pulled out the box with the ring in it and I just started to cry and cry and cry and I really don't even think I said yes but shook my head yes, for us the zoo has alot of meaning and as we continued on we talked about where we would like to get married and agreed it would be there at the zoo in Akron, OH so we go to leave to get something to eat get in the truck and the truck won't start (now we just put a brand new fuel pump in and its the fuel pump again)can you believe the the luck so we have to be towed back to our shop and grab Mike's truck so off to get something to eat by the time we get home my neck is hurting so badly that I am almost in tears and I can't even move my head so the moral of the story is anything that could go wrong yesterday did go wrong but it was a one of the best days of my life.
