Mojito Monkey Mama's 2 cont'd

not sure yet but she "says" that she doesn't want anything but I am not sure yet.

I haven't called or emailed her at all in 2 weeks so we will see. I have been so busy with things here.

How are you feeling?

Well at least she's letting you see him now! :thumbsup2

Other than the side effects from the meds, I'm feeling ok! No blockages or problems with heart or arteries! :woohoo:

The doctor wants me to sign up for a yoga class to help reduce stress...like I have time to take a yoga class!

I wish we could, but when all this medical stuff happened, Shawn booked a week up in Maine, so we could at least get away locally for vacation this year. I won't have enough vacation time left to go to WDW in September for a week. :sad2:

This whole episode really messed up my summer this year! :sad1:

Yeah I do, and I'm glad we're going to be able to take Kellie somewhere on a vacation this year! She's still bumming big time about having to cancel everything in September!

I just cannot leave you people alone for a minute.

Let's see.

Pooh's mom is sick???? She did get to see her grandchild.:thumbsup2 Invitations done and so lovely and soooo Pooh!

Vixie, is not coming to DW?:sad1: Having marital problems??? In law problems???? I went back and read several pages and never did figure the whole thing out so I am reading between the lines within the scope of my own past history. Hope I am wrong.

WIC, still not coming. :sad2: Could you not convince your husband, with all the medical issues, that this is your 'last request;? It worked for my dh when he was diagnosed with some issues. He got an entire month at DW last September and another ten days at Christmas.

Timmie is missing in action. I am worried because she has had a lot of stress and strife lately and who knows what else might have befallen her. I hope she is just busy. I hope, I hope. What would we do without our 'sparkplug"??:worship:

The more I read about airflight and rental car problems the more I am sure I am right in driving my own, well taken care of, car myself. If the weather is a problem I can leave a bit early or even a bit late and besides I have a darned comfortable car with loads of room for 'stuff'.

The doctor raised my meds and gave me the go ahead for DW, just have to take it easy. When I get back I will be in a heart harness for a whole month. She assures me that I will be able to take a shower though. :hippie: Just have to get through the test on the 14th without any major trauma and I am good to go. Anyone willing to come over and help me drag the suitcases downstairs?:rotfl:

See there is a silver linning under the crappiness of the world!! YOU get to go DW !!

I think MV is coming now to DW so we will see whats up!!

MV, reading between the lines and from what little I know about your life I have a feeling that you and I are a whole lot alike and I had the same situation. You do not drive, you live out in the boonies and are silly enough to spend money on fixing up a rental. :thumbsup2 I was once in the same boat and without an oar. Did not have a computer in those days and my husband would not even take me to the library to get books to read. It is not a good situation for anyone involved.

I sure hope you do get to come to DW. It our bit of fantasy in an otherwise insane world.

 SG

Hey stranger!

Glad to hear that you've been working non-stop and not just ignoring us! :rotfl2:

That stinks about the bill collectors harrassing your mom, you would think they'd at least give her a little bit of time to get everything regardng your dad straightened out before they started attacking! :sad2:

Still confused here... I hope all is well.

Flights for us were perfect. Our flight coming home even landed about 15 minutes EARLY. Just the rental car company totally BITES. I did fire off an email to the company today and filled out my survey with comments. I'll call the branch that gave me so much grief later this week.

Anyone willing to come over and help me drag the suitcases downstairs?:rotfl:

SG

Why don't you leave your bag downstairs and pack it there? You'll be making trips to and fromyour bedroom all day anyway... just carry an outfit or two with you each trip.

Hey all,
Sorry to make you guys worry. Just some major issues around the house, and they included all of the above guesses.:lmao:

We are still coming down.
I still need addys for Timmy and FF. The invites are going out tomorrow so if I dont get an addy you dont get an invite and you will be wandering blindly around the MK trying to find us. And you do know what they do with lost ppl at WDW right? How do you think Small World gets all those children singing, not to mention all the other "audio animatronics" around the parks? :rotfl2:

The shirt designs will go out VIA email/PM tomorrow evening. Remember orange shirts. NO special kind, just orange. T-shirts, tanks, sweats, see thru camisoles (oh wait maybe not them..:scared1: ) But whatever you want in the way of top body coverings as long as it is orange. Please do not post the design here on the boards until after the party.

I bought a new camera during lunch today. I think I mentioned that mine sustained a little bit of water damage on our trip. So, I found a Canon with great reviews at Best Buy. It was on sale online, but I wanted to hold it in my hand & test it out before buying. So, we headed into the store. It wasn't on sale in the store, but I told the clerk the online price & that's the price he gave me, no questions.

Way to go Rie thats awesome!! We need a camera like that one!:wizard:  :woohoo:

Ants, I sure hope you checked out those thar matoes before chomping down. Would not want you to go and get sick on us. My tomatoes are safe, I grow my own. :thumbsup2 Do not work too hard.

M2E, sounds like a nice camera. I recently bought a thing that transfers negatives into digital images and it was worth it just for one precious picture of my babies when they were babies. Just think of all the memories you will capture with that. Priceless!:thumbsup2

MV, have shirt will iron, if I can remember where I put the darned thing! :rotfl: Things are always worse when you are in the midst. Years later they often seen funny but it sure is hard to wait that long. Hope it all works out for you. The only place I have to put the suitcases downstairs is on the pool table and even though my dh only plays on it maybe twice a year he would pitch a "um" if I were to do so for the entire month until I leave. I do it about a week before. In the meantime I am sorting through my stuff upstairs trying to make sure I have enough of everything.

WIC, you think bill collectors have a heart? Heck, people you do not even owe money to will call and bug you after someone dies in hopes that you will THINK you owe and pay up because you are otherwise distracted.

I have not gotten much of anything done today which would not be so bad except that I had planned to take tomorrow off. The only time I get my place perfect is the day before I leave on vacation and by the time I get back the yard is all grown up with weeds and the house is thick with dust. One would think I would learn. :rotfl:

OOO...purty...I need one too. Well, really I WANT one but,............

I like the way the Canon's are designed that when you hold them they have that little bump that just feels really comfy in your hand. We have a lower model but good for us and it is super easy to hold and prevents the fingers in the lens.:lmao:

This one has several features that I've wanted for years:

optical zoom (digital zoom gets blurry)
adjustable viewing screen
adjustable ISO
faster write to memory, etc.

Now, I did this research and made this decision without my husband, so I'm sure he'll be all cranky about it. However, he'll then do the research and come to the same decision I did.

don't ya love it when a plan comes together and he has nothing to complain to you about!! :thumbsup2

MV. I have a Canon and I bought it for the 'bump'. I love the look of the skinny ones and they would fit better in my tiny purse however when I invest bucks in something I want to make sure that it will not slip out of my hand and break easily.

Mom2Evie, I like my camera although I have to admit that my old Kodak did a better job with movies but it could be that I am doing something wrong. I bet you and I researched the same places.

Nancy, you know them guys can always find something to complain about. Does not have to be valid or any old thing. :rotfl: Mine has finally been trained, after all these years. I do not even bother asking him much or telling him what I am doing. He trusts me. He is right to. Darn it! :rotfl2:

Your invitation is so lovely. I am correct that is a real ribbon and not a printed one? I do not have your touch with such things. I used to. Too tired nowadays.

I have decided to take a page from the book of the Divas and I will just sit on benches and wait for folks to come by and visit with me. Sounds like a plan. :thumbsup2
