Modifying Moonlight tickets in General registration?

Has anyone ever modified the # of tickets they received for Moonlight in early registration during General registration? I was one of the many kicked out during registration and am very grateful I was sent an email confirming my 3 tickets a few days ago. My son did not get confirmation until this morning that he is able to attend with us and Member Services told me I could attempt to modify my # of tickets during General reservations Thursday. I have never had a need to modify and did ask if there was any threat to the tickets I already have and was told no.
Does the system recognize my reservation and just allow me to +1 if I make it into the que?

I did not know it was possible either. I was thinking it may be a new change and figured if anyone knew the answer-it would be here. I know this whole registration has been a nightmare and was considering whether or not I even ask, but chat told me to send an email. The response was that they were not adding any additional tickets to this party but I was welcome to try and adjust my tickets in General registration. My very first question was whether or not I would be risking the tickets I have and they said no. There is just no guarantee that I will get into the que to add a ticket.

Ive never heard of adjusting during general registration. But I don't have as much experience as others. Although, since your original tickets went acquired the normal way it makes the situation unique.

I have not ever heard of that as the system sees you as having tickets already.

Thanks for the replies. I wonder if it is because my 1st registration was set up for me like VGCgroupie mentioned. I guess anything is worth an attempt since I have confirmation that I wont lose it all, Im just curious how it could even work.
