I booked at my home resort at 11 months in a 2 bedroom, want to change at 7 months to BWV to a 1 Bedroom. I have been watching it everyday and tomorrow is the day I can modify. This morning when I checked the first night is no longer available. IF I modify online in the morning, ( what time can I do this?) and also if I put in the dates I Want how will that work since the first night is now not available? will it automatically wait list that first night? should I book that first night somewhere else just to have something? Never had to do this before. thanks for any replies...

You can modify at 8 Eastern. It will not create a waitlist for you. If you are trying to book right at 7 months and the first night is unavailable you have no choice but to wait another day. Good luck!

thank you for your response.... Will i be able to wait list for the whole time then? Tomorrow for the whole time frame? maybe its possible that someone is "walking their reservation" and it will clear.... I was just reading about that.... lol

You can waitlist for the entire stay today if the first night is not available. Good luck!

Thank you again!! I don't usually switch but want to be close to food and Wine. :)

How did you make out? If the first day was available and then today it wasnt but other days are, then yes, perhaps someone is walking. I would piece meal my stay but thats just me. I would take the days you can and just WL and stalk. Good luck.

That assumes that the OP has the points available to piece together a BWV stay while retaining their reservation at their home resort.

Yes, but I was not even thinking about keeping the home resort. I know October is very busy but life and plans change. I would just WL and stalk and piece together my trip. Good luck OP.

I Still have okw for the entire stay and waitlisted the BWV for the whole stay. the 18 - 22 is open at BWV so I may modify tomorrow, if they still show the 18th open, It makes me nervous though, cause now the OKW is not available for the 17th, I have it but I don't want to mess up.. I will modify for the 1 night at OKW and then try to get the 4 nights at BWV as 2 separate reservations. is that the best way to do it?

I don’t think you will be able to do a modification and split your existing old Key West reservation into two pieces. I think you could modify your existing reservation to be the 18th through 22nd at BWV and drop the 17th at OKW Ending up with a four night reservation. I know you don’t want to do that but I do not think you can do a “mixed” if you will, modification. If you really want boardwalk that may still be your best bet if it is available - modify existing OKW to 4 night BWV -And then wait list the 17th at boardwalk and somewhere else that you might be interested in. The one night wait list has a much better chance.
