The obvious choices would be "Who Let the Dogs Out?" or "The Hamster Dance."

But you know what song I hate the most? "I'm a Survivor" by Destiny's Child. I can't stand to hear those girls caterwaul in the background. Heard this on RadioDisney this morning and immediately changed the channel.

dave matthews band & red hot chili peppers make me urp. and beyonce's solo. ick.

Anything top 40 because of overkill! Once an hour is way too much for me!

I tend to shy away from the songs everyone else thinks is great. I like a more alternative sound, or an oldie's (80's) station (which is very hard to come by down here.)

Dave Matthews is played to the hilt because he is from Charlottesville, a town south of where I live.....so they play him over and over and over and over and over and over again!

I like the new Chilli Peppers song, I seem to catch it right at the end, I don't think I've ever heard the song straight through! Love Anthony Keidis! :p

Anything by any of the current breed of female pop stars who spend more time moaning than singing. 90% of the female pop singers sound alike these days. Heres a hint for these ladies, there are other styles out there besides breathy and moaning.

Anytime a song comes on where the singer takes 16 measures and 45 notes just to get out the first syllable (which is usually "Well", "Ah", "Oh" or "Uh"), I reach for the dial to change stations as fast as I can.

Eminem -- way too bitter.... (I jokingly refer to him as Skittles... ;))

My car radio is glued to Radio Disney when the kids are in the car.

When Lil Romeo's song comes on (the one that sounds like the old Jackson 5's "I Want You Back") they scream for me to turn it off...even my 3 year old hates that song.

i hate all modern popular songs. LOL :p

Caity,
I thought that wasn't supposed to happen until you were an old fogey like me (LOL).

LOL - i think i was born an old fogey. i like 60's, 70's and some 80's and i have since i was little.

I actually think that Who Let the Dogs Out, despite being named the decade's worst song by VH1, is kind of catchy.

(Dana ducks before the mob jumps on her)

I really hate that Tubthumping song... Who was that by again?

anything my 11 year old daughter listens to....YUCK!

Cotye--

Tubthumping by....ChumbaWumba (or somesuch  ) Big Time anarchists, who got airplay on MTV

Chumbawumba

I really can't stand "Compliated" by Avril Lavigne - I cringe when she says "When you strike a pose"...the way she says pose and clothes irks me.

I didn't like that "Hero" song from Spiderman either.

I cant believe yall dont like DMB:)

There are a couple of songs wayy too overplayed. I cant think of any certian ones right now though:)

I kinda like "Who Let the Dogs Out" too danacara ;)

I hate the kind of"caterwauling" referred to by Jersey Janice LOL and the moaninging and hiccupping style described so well by WDWhound.

DD (16) LOVES Dave Matthews, I have to confess I've never listened to him........

Caitycaity---you would LOVE WROR in Boston...60's and 70's.....unfortunately it's JUST out of my range here in central NH.....but as soon a I get ten miles south of here in my travels that's what I tune into ;)

The one I currently hate the most on the "top 40ish" station I listen to locally is "I'm Already There"...it's a country crossover type song about a guy on the road who calls home and his kids ask when he's coming home and then the endlessly annoying chorus of "I'm already there".......I'm in the wind and the breeze and the dirty laundry on the floor...j/k about the lyrics but it's a DUMB song IMHO LOL

Another thread just reminded me that I really despise anything by Kylie Minogue too!

The song Hero by Enrique Iglesias drives me crazy. I think he needs to decide if he wants to sing or cry and PICK ONE!!!!
