Right now our plan is actually to leave Epcot for dinner and take the monorail to the Contemporary and eat at Chef Mickeys. We have been there before and enjoyed it and my 14 year old DS is curious to see the Contemporary because one of his pals tells him it is his favorite.I have never loved Epcot and figured it would break up a long day there(it is an EMH night as well).
But, my DD has convinced me I will enjoy Epcot more in my "old age" so I started thinking do we really want to waste all that time going to the Contemporary? Next problem is I cannot really find a sit down restaurant at Epcot that seems both good and in the $10- $20 entree price range. Am I missing anything?I don't mind spending $25 for an all you can eat,but find that price a little high for an al a carte restaurant. Any ideas, please?

Oh gosh, Epcot is the best park for food! I definitely wouldn't leave for a meal!

The Biergarten is an inexpensive buffet - $20.99 for dinner

The Rose & Crown dinner entrees are mostly in the mid teens range

Nine Dragons has quite a few entrees under $20

Almost everything at the San Angel Inn comes in under $20

Tempura Kiku is quite reasonable

That's just a few... and if you really want to save money, make lunch your main meal - you'll save a few bucks that way as well. I definitely wouldn't waste any of the Epcot day traveling to other places for food - it's the best 'foodie' park there is!
