Please bear with me as all this is new to me.

When planning for our first trip in Oct, I never even knew that there was such a thing as MNSSHP. But the more I read, the more it sounds like something my kids 1, 5 and 7 would enjoy.

I read Baloo's thread but still have a few questions: do you think it's OK if my kids don't wear a Disney costume? My 5 year old has his heart set on being a clown:rolleyes: or does everyone wear Disney related costumes?

We are staying offsite so where do I buy the tickets?

And just out of curiousity, how do they get regular parkgoers to leave and open it only to people who have tickets for the party?

Thanks

it will be just fine if your kids dont wear a disney costume. i read that there was one girl going as a bat, another wanted to be strawberry shortcake. were going as shrek and princess fiona. so, i think you will be just fine not wearing a disney costume. we're going to mnsshp for the first time also. cant wait. hope you have a great time also.

A clown sounds fine! Not everyone dresses Disney related but a lot do. You can call and order tickets and they will mail them. I think you can buy them online too. The MK closes at 6pm on Halloween party nights. They start letting MNSSHP guests in around 4pm for dinner, etc.. Around 6pm they start ushering day guests out. If you came in early for MNSSHP you can move to Tomorrowland and wait till 7pm there.

When you enter MK with your MNSSHP tickets, you get a wristband. Guests without wristbands must leave the park by 6pm.

As a veteran of two MNSSHPs, I'd highly recommend it. And, I agree with earlier posts, dressing up like a clown is fine!
