Does anyone know when the tickets can be purchased for Mickey's not so scary halloween party? We are going October 21-28/08:cool1:

Hey they are the exact days we are going. What night you going to go to MNSSHP?

Kirsten

Does anyone know how much they generally cost? We will have 2 adults and 2 kids.

Here are last year's prices:

GATE PURCHASE PRICE:
Adults: $48.94 - ages 10 and up
Child: $42.55 - ages 3 - 9

ADVANCE PURCHASE - Tax Included
Adults: $41.49 - ages 10 and up
Child: $35.10 - ages 3 - 9

Ouch! So it would cost us just over $150. To those that have been before was it worth it? What exactly are you getting/doing that isn't included in regular park admission?

There are usually additional discounts available too if you have an AP on certain nights. I'm not sure if you can advance purchase with an AP though, and nights can sell out. I think I remember that you couldn't for the Halloween party last year, but I know you could for the Christmas party.

I've never done the Halloween party, but the Christmas party was worth it. We had friends that did the Halloween party last year and says it was the highlight of their trip. We're definitely going this year.

You don't need regular park admission on that day (included in the ticket price), so you can adjust costs there possibly.

All ears has a nice review section you might want to check out about how other felt about the Halloween party http://allearsnet.com/reviewpost/showproduct.php?product=222&cat=65

A more general description of events is also at all ears: http://allearsnet.com/tp/mk/mnssh.htm

We already have a park admission ticket for that day. I already made our hotel reservations and bought a ticket package for each day we would be there. So would that make the halloween party tickets cheaper?

It certainly gets mixed reviews. Lots of people said it was very crowded and treat stations were hard to find. Most liked the parade and fireworks though. But we will get to see other parades and fireworks while we are there. Not sure that my little ones could stay up late enough to get much out of this. Still thinking :headache:

The Halloween party tickets are the same price regardless. There is still time to call Disney w/o penalty and adjust the number of tickets on your package. Or you could purchase the non-expiration option (even upgrading to the 10 day ticket if you don't have it) and save the tickets for the next trip. Or you could use the MWY ticket at a different park that morning, especially if you don't have the park hopper option--the Halloween party ticket won't let you in until 4 PM.

When we were at the Christmas party, we actually did DtD in the earlier part of the day and then went to the Christmas party at around 4 to get to our ADRs on time. At the Christmas party, my kiddos were 1, 3 & 6.

Good luck whatever you decide!! It is so hard to pick and choose where to spend the $$$.

Does anyone know what time we can enter for the Halloween party? I was planning on park hopping that day. Maybe we should just wait till Halloween party opens and then go? But we have ressies for Tony's at 540. Is it possible to make this ressie using Halloween pass?

thanks

They'll let you in at 4 PM with the Halloween ticket.

yup, the prices are steep...especially when you've really already paid to get into the park that day if you have length of stay passes. But as my DH likes to say...in the grand scheme of things, with all the money we've given to Disney, what's another $120?!?!

We went last year for the first time and definitely felt that it was worth it. We will be going again this year. :goodvibes

Thanks everyone for the great information. We will be doing the MNSSHP not sure what day waiting for the EMH calendar to be updated. I heard the party is wonderful. Not sure if I am going to have the whole family dress up or just the kids. I cannot wait for this trip!:yay:

EMH dates should be Monday PM and Thursday AM. The park hours list the dates, but not if AM/PM, but we're going 10/25-11/2. The only date they don't have a MNSSHP is on Monday, so that has to be the PM hours. They're pretty much the same days through the month.
