Hi

I'm just wondering your thoughts on the best night. I know/suspect that Halloween parties on a fri, sat or sunday are likely to be busier than during the week but assuming that is correct would you..

a) Go to a party on your 3rd day out in floridly (2 wk holiday) because it's Tuesday 23rd or

b) Go on Thursday 2nd October because it's later in your holiday and not over straight away but might be busier (?)

Any thoughts from experience Halloween partiers welcomed

THANKS

I would probably opt for the 9/23 as a first choice for a few reasons. Firstly, if the weather looks bad then you still have the 10/2 as a fall back. Secondly, there is the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon on 10/3-10/4 which might mean higher crowds in WDW by then.

In general the weekend (including Fri) parties tend to be busier than the weekday parties, but, you're going fairly early so it's less of an issue. I've found that that weekend/weekday issue tend to be more pronounced once the locals start consider going to MNSSHP (so more mid-October than late-September/first week in October).

Thank you. Didn't know about the marathon…guess that means that whole week might be busier. Thanks for the advice :D

I was going to say go to the first one too-that way if it rains, you will be able to change your tickets. They won't have the parade and fireworks if the rain is really bad.

Ah, again, good thinking :) I know we missed out on the headless horseman last time because it rained.

Just note that the only times I heard of guests being allowed to exchange tickets or get tickets for another party is when it's been pouring rain. A light msisting or slight drizzle will stop some things from happening (e.g., Horseman, some of the outside dance parties, etc.), but it doesn't mean the tickets will be exchanged.

If the ground is wet, the Horseman will not ride. So even if it stops raining before parade time, he might not make an appearance because the route is wet.

Thanks. Tbh I was thinking more that if it's bad or crowded or something we should still be able to get tickets for over a week later for an alternative - I don't think they normally sell out on regular halloween nights that far in advance :confused3. At least we'd be able to try :)
