Just wondered what everyone planned on going as (in costume) to MNSSHP!! My mom and I haven't decided yet. We may go as aliens again!

We are undecieded about costumes- DS11 thinks he is toooo old for a costume. We may just all wear matching spooky tshirts if we can find some before we leave.
We looked at costumes online and ebay and they are soo expensive, plus not knowing how hot it will be in early Oct is a factor too...

I'm going as a pirate...my waistcoat is currently being made for me.

DH doesn't know if he'll dress up yet. He's got a pretty cool costume that would fit in well with the Haunted Mansion stuff...and he's debating if he'll wear it or not.

My husband and I are going to be Minnie & Mickey. ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo
He's not really big on costumes, but we're almost 3000 miles from home and I guess he figures no one he knows will see him. :rotfl:
Plus our daughters LOVE it when we dress up. Our oldest wants to be a pirate (but most likely will be the Queen of Hearts again since we spent a small fortune on that costume from Disneyshopping.com). My youngest wants to be Tinkerbell.

My fiance will go as a pirate, and I really wanted to go as Tinkerbell, but based on some comments that I saw on these boards I am not sure anymore...

I mean it is a tube dress, and I don't want to offend anyone even though I would wear sneakers and boxer shorts underneath... :confused3

We are going as Wonder Woman, Catwoman and DH will be the Punisher. :teeth:

Everyone's costumes sound cool! I haven't ready anything about tinkerbell costumes... why would a tinkerbell costume be offensive?

:stir:

I *think* that we will be doing a Superman theme... DH will be either Superman or Clark Kent, I will be Lois Lane and the kids will be both be Superman (yes, my DD wants to be Superman).

awww how cute!

We are 2 families going as Fred, Wilma, and 3 Pebbles then Barney, Betty and 2 bam bams.

My 10 year old son and I are going as pirates. My son uses a wheelchair , we are making a cover for his wheelchair into the shape of a pirate ship....the stern of the ship! He is very excited! He will be sitting in his ship. Ahoy to all!

Our first MNSSHP and first time onsite!!!!!

Last year I was tinkerbell (costume bought from disneyshopping.com), dh was cpt. hook (made his own) and ds 4 was peter pan.

It was very cute but we were HOT! DH says he's not dressing up this year. I was thinking I might just wear some black shorts, black t-shirt and buy some cat ears and a tail and paint whiskers on my face.

Last time we went as the Peter Pan family. DH was Peter, ds4 was Captain Hook, dd1 was tinkerbell and I was Wendy. We were very happy to hvae costumes that were not HOT!

This year dh is just wearing a Big Bad wolf t-shirt. I am wearing a Malifecent t-shirt and the kids can choose whatever.

DD, turning 4 on the trip, cannot make up her mind between Ariel, a hula dancer, tinkerbell again or Cinderella. (she has a lot of dress-up clothes). If it were a cooler night she might wear her crocodile outfit and her brother could be Capt'n hook again.

DS, turning 7 on the trip, might be a pirate, or just might wear a special Stitch t-shirt and wants his sister to wear the hula outfit so they can be Lilo & Stitch! I said no to a real Stitch costume as it would be too hot for him in FL w/ it.

Me = Halloween t-shirt with Pluto on it pluto:
ds = pirate pirate:
dd = Tink :tinker:

My mom is making us all PIRATE costumes. I have an old alice costume and my DD has a minnie costume and my mom was going to just make dh and DS pirate costumes but she figured to celebrate the fact that she is coming along for the first time in five years that we should ALL be matching, coordinating pirates. So if you see a group of three adults and too children dressed as pirates with matching black/white stripes AND blue paisley fabric on Oct. 2 that will be US!!!

My costume will have a peasant blouse and corset...sort of wenchy. I've looked at several SLEEK knee high boots at thrift stores but I can't figure out if I can handle 6 hours in them. My dogs would be BARKING! :tiptoe: :dog2:

DH and I are going as Beauty (yellow dress) and Beast-as-human (no heavy, furry costume!). You're never too old to dress up! :)

DH, DD, 21 and myself will probably be going as Lifeguards--red shorts, white shirts with Lifeguard, guard fanny packs, whistles, caps. This idea met with DD's approval!

When we went at Halloween, we all wore groucho glasses. It was fun and got lots of laughs. DD did dress up as Tiger Lily, not Pocahontas as she was accused of. Ha Ha.

That's such a great idea! :goodvibes I hope it turns out really good and you have loads of fun!
