I am curious to know how likely it is that the first day will be sold out?

I am not going to be able to purchase until Aug. 31st, at the earliest. We arrive at POP on Sept. 3rd.

Also, if I order them over the phone, does anyone know if they will hold the tickets until I get there.

Someone posted the "sell out" history of previous year's MNSSHP, and it showed Sept 14th as the first sell out date in 08 but it didn't list if that date was opening night or not? Hopefully someone in the know will respond. It does seem like quite a few Disers are going on Sept. 4th. and since its labor day, my guess is that the crowds will come, unless the weather is bad. For what it's worth, there are still rooms at all the Disney Resorts, even with free dining and labor day? BTW, just checked and UOGTWDW is still showing Sept 4th as a "4" for crowds? Wonder what all this means????

Haven't seen them there. But have found them frequently in Epcot.

I too was wondering about the 9/4 party selling out. Me, DH, DD and DS already have tickets, but MIL is unsure if she is going and has decided to get her ticket at the gate when she makes up her mind. If it ends up selling out, DH said he will give her his ticket, but I really want us all to go.

It would be a total guess. That's a really early party so my gutt would say no, it won't sell out. Last year was the first time there was a party that early (Sept 5) and that year only one party sold out in Sept and it was Sept 28.

The Sept 14th party you are talking about was in 2007 and it was the first party of the year and yes, it sold out. But then last year only Sept 28 sold out in Sept.

So as you can see, the crowd level of the Sept parties is very unpredicable.

Hi all, THANKYOU so much for all these great tips

My DD and I are going NEXT year to MNSSHP. Never been before We only have 2 choices when we can go.... Sat. Oct 30 or Sun. Oct 31.

Do you think they will have 2 MNSSHP in a row? They always have one on actual Halloween right? So they probably won't have one on the Saturday? If they do have one on Sat which night do you think will be busier?

And last question..... for those who have attended on Halloween night just how busy was it??

I am getting so excited!! We have booked the Contemporary MK view for those 2 night

The only reason that this party may sell out is that it's the only party before Labor Day this year. A lot of schools, particularly in the northeast, will still be out, so people who are on vacation before the kids go back to school, and otherwise wouldn't be able to go to an MNSSHP, may decide to go.

The other ones in early September I would not expect to sell out.

I know he shows up at the Christmas party with Belle in her red. Normally they are out at the Stroller parking lot in Fantasyland, but might move to the princess tent if it's raining????

I also know he hangs out in France in Epcot, but with Belle dressed in her blue. I was just wondering if he showed up at MNSSHP, maybe with Belle in her yellow, you know, since all the other princesses are there!

I was also advised that the tickets can be purchased over the phone and held at a will-call window, since it is short notice to have them mailed. He wasn't sure if there was a will-call option if you buy online.

Looks like I need to buy my tix a little sooner than what I was prepared for.

I just tried to buy online and there is a will-call option. And furthermore, there's an E-ticket option. That's a big plus!

I'm sure you can buy them the day of. The dates right around Halloween would be the ones I'd be more scared of selling out.

If you buy the tickets ahead of time you get a $7 a ticket discount.




Here is a picture of the bag we purchased last year. I don't know if they will be the same this year. Hopefully not. I think the bag was $3 but don't quote me on that! LOL

We went to the party on October 19th. While the bag is really nice, there is no way I would of allowed my DW to spend $15 on that bag!!!!!

Maybe no one was buying them at that price and they had to get rid of them! LOL

I just asked DW if she remembers the price of the bag.... She said it was $5. So I was wrong........ what else is new?

Still working my way through this thread, sorry if this has already been said...

When we first got to the World last year, these exact tote bags were more expensive. But one night right before Halloween they did reduce them to $5.00 if you made a purchase (no minimum $ amount though, I believe we only spent $4 at the POC store and were offered this deal). DH thought it was a silly thing for me to buy, but now that we're planning our first ever MNSSHP (after 8 trips over Halloween), it's looking like a great bargain!

I dunno. You could call 407-934-7639 and ask a CM. My wait time was less than 5 min. They close at 10pm eastern time every night.
