MNSSHP ticket problem

A situation has come up and the family traveling with us had to cancel. They have 2 adult and 2 child tickets to the 10/5 MNSSHP. I understand these are supposed to be non-transferrable, but is that written in stone?

Eating the cash is not impossible, but it is a shame some tickets may go to waste.

Any suggestions? TIA.

Names are not on the tickets and when you use your ticket to get there is no way they would know if you were the original owner of the ticket or not.

I don't see why they are not transferrable, if they are non refundable, they have to be transferrable. I purchased mine for this year and I was only asked the age of the children, not the names. I am pretty sure its fine.

I asked a CM cause we are in the same situation where we had to cancel our October trip ( now moved to August) ...He said that there are no names attached to the card....Its just like a ticket...
He even mentioned i should try to sell them on EBAy
Then i said that I could try here to sell them ...But
IM not selling them...gonna eat the $$ and keep the cards as our "we were suppsoed to go to it" memento..We went last year and this was supposed to begin a tradition of going during Halloween cause its so much fun down there that time of the year.
Its a bummer that we cant go...Funny what loosing a job can do to ones life routines...
