MNSSHP: Should we buy in advance??

We will be at WDW Oct. 18th thru 25th, so we have a choice of going either the 19th or 24th. I would rather wait until we get there to buy them, just in case something happens where we can't go, but is this risky? Should we definetly buy them in advance even though it won't be Halloween night?

I appreciate any advice on this matter.

I would like to know this too. Anyone not been able to get them. We will be there on the 5th, and 10th. I figured that the 10th would go a little quicker since its Friday night.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would buy them in advance. Especially if you plan to attend on a weekend night.

I went a few years ago and had ordered them a few months earlier which was good because they were sold out the whole week we were there but we were there the week of halloween

We'll be in Disney Oct 13-18, so we have our choice of two dates also. I really want to attend on Oct 14 - so I bought my tickets in advance to be sure we'll be able to attend (in case of a sellout). I am considering going again on Oct 16, but I won't buy the tickets until I get there. If my little girl really has a great time at the party on the 14th, then I'll get the tickets to go again.

That way, I KNOW we'll be able to attend at least one of the parties. So, if you have your heart set on a particular day, I'd buy the tickets now so you'll know you got them!

I bought tickets for halloween night the day after they went on sale. Just last week my parents decided they were going to fly down with us and also wanted to go. So I called back last week for their tickets-- once again for halloween. The CM on the phone-- had said he'd have to look because they may already be sold out. Luckily they weren't. My sister called the next day (all of my family jumped onto our plans). She was told they were almost sold out for Halloween. I noticed that the 10th and 18th (I believe) seem to be hot dates on this board for people going.

I really think, to be safe, if you really, really want to go, I'd buy them early.

I would definitely buy ahead of time.MNSSHP is becoming quite popular.When I went for the first time about 9 years ago there were only, I believe, 3 parties now there are 10!! I wouldn't chance it and it is worth the extra money.

Mady/Sophiesmom...I recommend going on Sun Oct 5.Weekend parties seem to be more crowded.
