MNSSHP questions

We have never attended this evernt. I have an 11 year old boy and 9 year old girl. Is it more for younger kids or will they most likely enjoy it too? We all love WDW. I just want to get some fedback before I purchase tickets.

I think this is one of the best events that Disney does. The first time we went we took our DS20, DD16 and DS4. They all loved it. I am including a link from someone who does a great review.

It's fun for all ages, really. And the fireworks and parade are excellent! One of our favorites times to go.

we went last year with kids in those age ranges. my oldest boys were 10 and daughter 8. (we also went 3 years ago as well.) imho it is a great event worth the extra $$ for all ages. Fireworks, parade, and shows are great. first year we went just the kids dressed up but last year hubby and I joined them. My only advice is that if you plan to eat at the parks do it earlier rather than later. We got there early last year as I discovered on these boards that you could get in earlier than the ticket stated (I think it was 4) and instead of eating first we hit a couple rides. We were frustrated when we realized where we had planned to eat was closed. Not all eateries stay open for the party. My kids and I are picky eaters so it was a big deal for us but probably not for most families!!!! But something worth noting just the same. It is still a great night!!!!

We will be going for the first time this year during our trip in September. My grandkids are really excited about it and so am I.

DD won a Young Author Award in fifth grade describing MNSSHP.. so she musta been 11..Happiest memory she has of all her trips to Disney!
