hey guys,

was just wondering if anyone can help with the following MNSSHP questions i have please..

- theres on on the 4th september - the first one. would this be as good as the later ones, seeing as its the first one? it will be the only chance we would get to go, seeing as we leave on the 5th :(

- is it worth the money?

- is it a good time? :D

- do adults and children both dress up? i know they can..just wondering how many actually do :)

- do you have the tickets shipped to your uk address? just worried about them getting lost in the post :S

If this is the only chance you have to go I would say do it.
The worse that will happen is that the park will be quieter than the later dates - but that just means more walk-ons :) - however with it being a Friday it will probably make a difference. I'm sure there will be plenty of others just like you who will only be able to make this one day.
We haven't been to one yet so can't comment on whether it is worth the money or any good - but all the reviews, comments and pictures I have seen are what convinced us to book tickets in the first place.
When we go all of us - 5 adults and 3 children - will be dressing up. We see it as part of the excitement and really want to add to the whole experience.
We had our tickets shipped to our UK address. When DW phoned up to order them she was given 2 options. $4 for standard shipping or $14 for FedEx. She chose FedEx and the tickets were with us in less than a week.

Yes it is worth it :thumbsup2 We really enjoyed when we went in 2007!

I would think the only thing between the early and late parties is the number of people everything else will be the same.

Adults and children both dress up as do the Characters!

We had a tickets shipped last time and will do again this time :goodvibes

I bought tickets for 22nd sept on Tuesday this week and they were delivered by 8.30 am friday morning !!

We have done 4 or 5, another 2 at Disneyland CA and 2 Pirate parties, all great evenings, we prefer to dress up somehow, maybe a full outfit or sometimes just had a spider on my head(must have heard 20 times "sir, do you know theres a spider on your head?")
In the early years of the parties few dressed up, more & more do every year.

Tickets, personally I don't understand why anyone has them shipped(but Kenny has more money than me, I'm a tight Yorkshireman:rotfl2:) we goto DTD on our 1st evening and collect any tix we have ordered, free to collect from any guest services just select willcall.

We loved MNSSHP last year and will be doing it again this year, we didn't dress up apart from DD.

We did willcall last year without any problems, and doing Willcall again this year.

we did the first night last year and it was great, we picked our tickets up once we got to disney

I'm hoping to go on the 4th as well this year but we shall see what money is like nearer the time

Sooooooooo cool :thumbsup2
Know have some thing else to plan hallowen costumes .:rotfl2:

We went for the first time last year & enjoyed it so much that we've booked to go again this year, actually on Halloween night. I know it's going to be busy but the atmosphere should be great. Will we be dressing up...absolutely!!! We're all going as 'Super Hero's'. Can't wait to see those capes flying on Big Thunder Mountain :rotfl2:

Super heroes :confused3 I thought the costumes would all be hallowen .
So does anything go

We too will be going on the 4th September and have never been before so we are looking forward to it! I have not booked the tickets but am hoping to do so in the next week or two. ;)

Super heroes :confused3 I thought the costumes would all be hallowen .

You will see cotumes of every description.
Super heros, villans, Pirates, princesses, characters from books, anything.
Some people goto town and spend a fortune others just a few dollars on a something like a flashing badge.

Now i really do not know what costumes .I know you are going on a dis cruise do many people dress up for pirate night I was thinking one costume for 2 nights .

In the US people dress up as anything for Halloween so you'll see a wide range of costumes at MNSSHP :)

We went in 2007 and I was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and the bf was Venkman from Ghostbusters (he was very specific! :rotfl2:) This year i'm not sure what we'll be going as, the bf is considering 'zombie Ed' from Shaun of the Dead but not sure fake blood would be the best idea in Disney/the Florida heat/both! I have a few ideas for myself, not telling yet though ;)

We have a variety of costumes to choose from after grabbing some bargains from the M&S sale.
We have Mr & Mrs Incredible, Jack Sparrow, Batman, Cruella, Obi Wan and a Stormtrooper (I think thats about it)
Unfortunately they only had the small sizes left in most things so I still need to sort my own costume out, but after hearing about the shop on I-Drive I might wait until I get there and have a look.
Does anyone know if this shop is expensive (I don't really want to spend too much on a costume for just the one night - depsite what Wayne would have you believe :rotfl2:)

we are hoping to do the first party aswell as this will be the only one we can do too

I got our costumes shipped to us in the US from disneyshopping.com
