MNSSHP Park Closing Monorail/Boat Wait Times

DH keeps telling me how long the line will be to get on either the monorail or boat back to the Poly after the MNSSHP party next year. Just how bad/long are the lines? How long did you have to wait? In the past we've stayed at the Contemporary so when the park closed after we attended the MVMCP last year we just walked back to the resort so paid very little attention to the lines or crowds.

They are pretty bad after parties, but when we were staying there and did MVMCP, we jumped on the ferry to the TTC and then walked. The ferry holds so many people it wasn't that bad. Where our room was those 2 years, it was actually shorter to walk from the TTC to our room, than from the Grand Ceremonial House from our room. It was definitely easier to get from MK to the Poly at park or party closing, than it was to get from MK to GF at park or party close.

Hm I didnt even think about taking the ferry to the TTC although our walk to our room may be a bit longer since we have a TPV room and those rooms seem to be the furthest from TTC.

The resort boats that service the GF and Poly are often a much better option than either the Monorail or Ferry.

We were at a party 9/25 & when the party ended we exited the park to find the monorail already shut down for the night!!! The crowds waiting for the boats were rediculous. Another reason we aren't going to the MVMCP when we're there in Dec. We decided to try the EMM at MK instead.

I thought the monorail was left running until 1 hr after park clowe??

We thought so too--but as we automatically headed toward the monorail ramp, a cast member told us that the monorail closed at ?11pm (I think) and the ramps were roped off and it was dark up in the station.
