MNSSHP... Opening night vs friday

So I'll be at Disney the week of sept 12. I'm trying to decide if I should do the 1st MNSSHP on Tuesday the 15 or the Friday. Can someone give input. Is one day better then the other.

Either night would be great. You may see slightly bigger crowds on Friday, but you'll have more info on where characters are and such if you avoid night 1.

I would say Tuesday night as you may get more locals on the Friday night which could make more crowded. That tuesday also has a better crowd level for the day in general.
